They return 3 qualifiers Nace(106), Dooley(113) and Darnell(HWT). I would look for Nace at 113, Dooley at 26 or maybe 20, and Darnell drop to 220 with Kinzer bumping to HWT. just a guess.

The TV Vikings have one other kid I think. He was hurt last year. He's legit. Can't remember his name right now though. Light weight. His absence may have made it possible for Dooley to go the weight he did. Dang it. I should really know this name. USMC... Where you at!?!?!?

His name is Cameron Lanthem, I forgot about him. I have seen him beat two state placers already this summer. tough kid.

Is this the year Central Ohio makes it move? Returning qualifiers with projected weights (based on rumors or my brain)

    106- Laney (120), Nace (113), Furnas (120/126)

    113- Dooley (120/126), Brusco (120/126), Disabato (120)

    120- Penzone (120/126), Rahmani (132/138), Wimer (126/132)

    126- Rooney (138/145), Sparks (132/138), Smith (126-138)

    132- Hinkle (145), Duriuex (138/145)

    138- Miller (145)

    145- Black (152)

    152- Deluse (160), Hinz (160), Yarger (170)

    160- NONE

    170- Stratton (170/182), Reid (170/182)

    182- Hall (182/195), Parker (182/195)

195- Lybarger (195), Pfarr (195), Kamba (195), Johnson (195) --- some could move up or down here.

    220- Struttman (220)

    285- Rollo (285), Darnell (220/285)

That is A LOT of guys with state level experience.

You forgot Eisenicher(sp) from Big Walnut. Don't know his weight but its probably in the 182 (ish) range.

Central Ohio improved but Perry, Moe, Brecksville,StEds,wadsworth, Clay, perrysburg then maybe a Marysville. Northeast just too strong and there's probably a few other teams. If Central Ohio get 2-3 teams in top ten again it would be a surprise

Who can be in the mix form Central Ohio to win it?

Other than some of the obvious choices, Wimer from Central Crossing will be a major player. He skin scratched at state(s) last year.
  • Citybuck
I think Bobby Smith can win it all.
  • Westie101
I will tell you right now don't count out Timmy Rooney from st. Charles at 32 or 38. He can beat anyone on any given day.

I don't think the CD gets many state champs this year, last year was a much better year. With that being said I still think the CD can get some placers, just not many state champs. Not hating just stating what I think, I hope i'm wrong.

    agree.

also, maybe this isn't his year, but before he's done we'll be saying the same about Hinkle.

News along the wire has Micah Jordan, formerly of St. Paris Graham, attending THEE Groveport Madison. Seems legit. More info to follow as I probe deeper. Stay tuned.

might want to probe around the HR dept cause i don't think that's happening w/o a certain head coach moving in as well... lol

Just read the file... Nikki Geordan, female, St. Paris Graham LSD, but home schooled.

    ;) :D ;)

Still have two full months, with some change, before the start of the season. Gotta get my posting idiocy on!!!!
  • 112in84
cruiser_96 , wouldn't be nice to get a move in like that. lol
  • 112in84

Heck yeah it would be nice! Just ask... ;) ;) ;)

ps: there is something to be said for raising it up from the ground. (I think this has less to do with wrestling and more to do with rearing our families puppy. Sure, right now the constant "No!" gets old. But in a few years we can say we made it. If we bought a 3 or 4 year old dog, we wouldn't have had the "valley" time, which will make the "mountain top" that much more enjoyable. Yes. I'm sure of it!)
