Wednesday January 8th 2014 City Dual Championships Semi Finals/Finals @ 2014 City Championship Host
Cite 1 winner vs. Cite 4 winner
Cite 2 winner vs. Cite 3 winner
Winners advance and face off in final round for 1st and 2nd trophies, losers face off for 3rd and 4th for an extra match making it a Tri.

The seeding and cites are determined by the team finishes of the previous years' city championship finish. If a team that finished in the top 4 cannot host, then the option goes to the next ranked team at their cite. The quarterfinal host schools will provide refs and security, and collect all gates/concessions. The semi finals and finals will be determined at the school that is hosting the city championship that year. Student activities needs to provide a 1st and 2nd place team trophy. The host school will take care of officials, security, and collect all gate and concessions. Each round will be kept as a Tri, so the total number of scheduling points for this tournament will be kept at 1-2. (1 if you are elimnated in the first round, 2 if you advance to the finals.) If a school does not field a team (i.e. Eastmoor) then the school facing them recieves a bye and advances to the next round.

This would be a lot of fun for the kids and great for the programs. I am hopeful that you can get it up and running.

beweartheFatmanroll- WE could do this with 2 quads like we used to have. But we got rid of the quads because we wanted to save points for out side leauge competition. However the way you propose does save on points only costing the winning teams 2 toatal leauge points. Just something i see student activities using agaist this, and the other arguement you could use for this is the fact that most of the teams use at least two points in season competeition and 2 this helps give the lower teams more competitive matches and also helps with seeding later for the individual tournament.

beweartheFatmanroll- Hope it goes well. WE (league) could do this with or without the CCS SA. We could use the 2 quads dates like we used to since most of use compete on those dates or have them saved anyways. But we got rid of the quads because we wanted to save points for out side leauge competition. However the way you propose does save on points only costing the winning teams 2 toatal leauge points. Just something i see student activities using agaist this. Another arguement you could use promoting this is the fact that most of the teams use at least two points in season competeition and 2 this helps give the lower teams more competitive matches and also helps with seeding later for the individual tournament.

The only thing like i said before is the seeding. Think it puts to much on the prior year and with as much change that commonly occurs in the city thats a little rough. But we've talked.
