Inner Circle Duals - 6/1/13

    INNER CIRCLE SUMMER DUALS


    This is an open dual meet tournament. Your team may be made up from incoming HS freshmen to graduating seniors. Teams can be comprised of wrestlers from multiple schools. Each team should have one person to help with table work.

    WHEN: Saturday June 1st, 2013 10:00am

    WHERE: Inner Circle Personal Fitness - 640 S Main St Wellington, OH

    FORMAT: 5 team; Round Robin Format

    WEIGHT CLASSES: 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 158, 165, 175, 185, 200, 220, 285 (no weigh-ins…coaches will be on honor system as always!)

    FEE: $200 per team. NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $100 is due with entry form no later than May 25th! Balance is due upon arrival on June 1st. First teams to contact us AND send in deposit will be assured of a spot. If deposit is not received by May 25th the spot will open up to first team with a deposit.

    AWARDS: Top 2 teams will receive awards.

    Return entry form with deposit check payable to INNER CIRCLE PERSONAL FITNESS by May 25th. Bring waiver form filled out for each wrestler and balance of entry fee upon arrival at INNER CIRCLE PERSONAL FITNESS on June 1st.

    *Once a deposit is received you will receive an email confirmation reserving your spot and a team roster sheet, and waiver form.

    Would this get more attendance if the weight classes weren't skewed "upward"?

    The split between bottom/top half of the weight classes is between 158/165. With scholastic classes it's between 145/152. My observation is that far more "small guys" are year-round wrestlers. Am I off here? Also, 10-lb. classes at the bottom, and then 7-8 lb. classes at 158 and 165?

    That said, I do agree with starting at 110; not many will cut to 106 in the off-season.

    The weights are pretty much comparable to all the other duals. It seems that there are a lot of kids right around that 150 - 165 weight range. There is always room for improvement, but we need good feedback as you have stated. Thanks for the input.
