Wimer failed skin, Valenti 0-2 in his spot. Marysville looked tough, as well as Sunkle & Yarger form PC. Lybarger had a tough 1st round loss to a tough opponent, comes back with a fall in the consis. Bet hes on fire tomorrow.

What are impressions on how the Central District is doing so far?

Nice to see first-round wins by Laney, Sunkle and Yarger, among others. The Mt. Vernon freshman continues to impress.

    Good luck to all wrestlers.

    DI
Wrestlers from the Hilliard Darby district compiled a 25 - 31 record in the first round and were 13 - 18 in conso's.
    Found that on Yappi.

Nice to see Jalen Robinson - Mifflin, get a win.
    Greg Brusco.
    Patch Garren. Twelve second pin.
Brenden Fitzgerald won his consi match.
Lots of good stuff in and around the CD.

The rest of the numbers......credit goes to Coach H for compiling these.

    # 1 Seeds:
51 - 5 record in the first round against the #4 seeds

The five #1 seeds that lost in the first round went 2 - 3 in the conso's first round.

34 - 22 record in the first round against the #3 seeds

The 22 who lost in the first round went 9 - 13 in conso's.

Obviously went 22 - 34 in the first round against the #2 seeds

The 34 who lost in first round went 25 - 9 in conso first rounds!

    #4 Seeds:
Obviously went 5 - 51 in the first round against #1 seeds
    The #4 seeds went 19 - 31 in conso's.

    Summary:
56 wrestlers in D1 have been eliminated. Three #1 seeds, thirteen #2 seeds, nine #3 seeds, and thirty-one#4 seeds.

    District Breakdowns:

Wrestlers from the Mentor district had the best first round record, compiling a 34 - 22 record in the first round but only an 11 - 11 record in consos.

Wrestlers from the Cleveland State district compiled a 29 - 27 record in the first round but had the best conso's record at 18 - 9.

Wrestlers from the Hilliard Darby district compiled a 25 - 31 record in the first round and were 13 - 18 in conso's.
