MOAC Challenge (youth & junior high) Sunday, 2/3 at Sparta Highland

  • ChampsDad
This tournament will be run on 5 mats in the Highland High School gym. There will be wrestlers from all over the state (and some from other states). The tournament will be staffed by coaches, boosters, and high school wrestlers from all of the MOAC school that sponsor wrestling teams. The junior high and youth wrestlers from these schools will be entering, and they are eager for some good competition from out of town.

Younger kids (10 years old and younger) will wrestle in the morning, older kids (11 & 12 years old and junior high) will wrestle in the afternoon. Entry fee is $15 for pre-registered wrestlers (mail-in or online), $20 the day of the tournament. COACHES may call for a quantity discount.

Highland Coach Adam Gilmore always does a great job of running a tournament.

The tournament flyer may be viewed and/or downloaded from http://www.CardingtonWrestling.com. There is also a link there to allow you to register and pay online.

Out of town clubs may conduct their own weigh-ins FOR PRE-REGISTERED WRESTLERS ONLY and email in their weights.

Online registration closes Friday (2/1) at midnight.

This event is always well attended, and the online registrations received so far indicate this one will be no exception.

Online registration (save $5!) will close at midnight Friday night, but walk-ins are welcome Sunday morning.

This is open to ALL wrestlers junior high and younger, from wherever you may hail. It's called the MOAC Challenge because the kids from the MOAC schools and clubs are challenging you to come over to Highland for some first rate competition.

Online registrations are continuing to come in a flurry. Last chance to register online and save $5 is midnight tonight (Friday). However, if you miss that deadline you may still come over to Highland Sunday morning. We're going to have another great crowd, and we're ready for it.
