NEW Rankings (All Divisions) 12/31

CthelitesI love the underestimating of Valenti.
Kids a gamer! Lost a heartbreaking back and forth 11-10 match to place at State last yr.
Hes had a great yr so far getting to the MIT semis before running into the immortal NT!
Has a couple big wins vs the Crestwood and Galion kids last week at tri and had a pin in dominating fashion vs DCC Toth at Medina.
I do think 120 will be the most interesting weight to watch at Darby come Sectional seeding time.
Who stays? Who cuts? Who bumps?
I think 138 is the next with 132 after that as of right now. -

agreed! i predict kakos wins his placement match for third at darby and gets to states this year!Coach Ramirez;1355791 wrote:Dont forget Kakos, he will also be in the mix! -
iGranbyI'm thinking 45/52/60 are all going to seem pretty stacked in the coming weeks. I'm thinking a few guys are gonna start sliding.
-
nykcThe reason I said 126 was up there as well is because I think some 32's will come down and some 20's will go up. I think you guys will be shocked when 120 is said and done. mad::huh:
[off topic rant]
Anyways - I was watching to the Tomasello vs. Valenti match on GO and I don't know who the announcer was but he needs to lose his wrestling commentator card. His comment was "I never heard of this Tomasello kid"
I never heard of CVCA but it doesn't take a PhD in Common Sense to realize the kid is the #1 120 in the NATION!!!!
[/rant] -
USMCdevil2005Wow never heard of tomasello lol. Guys been living under a rock!
-
CthelitesI think the "announcer" was being facetious lol.
The Ambassador knows all!
Thnx for posting the vids bruh! Or is it brah? Come at me! -
cruiser_96The best part of that entire sequence was - given the conversation with the CVCA mom/volunteer photographer about getting a covetted spot on the balcony and knowing where her aligences lay - was the high school kid from Perkins (who I am pretty sure is in a few 152# match scenes) who "informed" me who that Nathan Tomasello(?) kid was. I swear to you on everything I own that the kid was serious when he told me Tomasello "made it to the state tournament last year". All I could do was look to the volunteer photographer and smile!
When Tomasello has Valenti in his patented cross-leg turk, I mention to the kid that "he could probably win a big tournament like that!" ...aka Ironman finals win of Kolodzik. - point of note, currently, Kolodzik is #3 (I do believe - definitely top 5) and Tomasello stuck him. ...That's good, and I ain't talking 4x sectional qualifier good!
Classic stuff! Gotta stay light. -

Yes I know.... I was being an a$$ lol. Funny story about the kid from Perry though. Good Stuff!Cthelites;1356507 wrote:I think the "announcer" was being facetious lol.

Leib was at 120 last year and after seeing him at the licking co tournament, i doubt very much 113 is in his future (although he doesn't like like a "big" 120)USMCdevil2005;1358409 wrote:what weight is fluty at? Is Lieb able to droop to 113?? -
USMCdevil2005He is a tough kid but I don't think he will drop either. Pretty stacked kid at 120. Looks good. Anyone have any results on the shaut kid from kilborne?
-
nykcShaut wrestled 126 at the Kilbourne/Thomas dual but that might have been just to avoid Messerall. I think he will stay 132
-
knightflyer150You think he cut weight and certified at a new weight to avoid wrestling someone in a dual? Interesting.
-
USMCdevil2005very interesting knightflyer lol. I highly doubt it was to avoid anyone.

don't get me wrong, the kid's a decent wrestler, but i highly doubt anyone's running from someone who went two and out at districts last year... lolUSMCdevil2005;1359450 wrote:very interesting knightflyer lol. I highly doubt it was to avoid anyone. -
nykcIt was a joke Knightflyer... lol You do know Kilbourne is our arch rival school...
Shaut is a very good wrestler, but personally I do think he might stay at 132 - I also believe his weight certification will allow him 126 anyways.
I see kids wrestle up and down all the time depending on the opponent. I do know Messerall beat Niko last year and has beaten Lucky before - but I was seriously joking about that comment. I should have prefixed it with a </joke> tag or something. -
USMCdevil2005nykc we were just joking too. It's all good. I would drop if I were him. he has a way better shot at 26 then 32.

bump_and_runfor future reference everything i post is a joke unless it isn't funny, and then it is a product of my own stupidity or inexperience. thank you.

That my M.O.! Pretty much pure idiocy, all the time! Rankings are usually serious, but even then, I'll throw the Port on top from time to time just to keep us all light.bump_and_run;1359464 wrote:for future reference everything i post is a joke unless it isn't funny, and then it is a product of my own stupidity or inexperience. thank you. -

I tell ya what, that kid will knock off anyone who isn't 100% at Darby! Very talented wrestler.USMCdevil2005;1359476 wrote:Told you Laney would win the KC MEMORIAL! I think he beats Nace and The Guit! -
