    Nice list!

Nice List indeed - however I strongly disagree with Rahmani #1 at 120. Granted the kid is a stud, he has yet to wrestle and until he proves himself that the injury didn't affect his performance and I would not rank him over Timchenko who will be 120.

Just my opinion, nothing against Rahmani

I've seen how much weight the kid cuts... I wouldn't describe it as "easily"

....Maybe no one should be ranked at a weight they have yet to wrestle at.

speaking of that, have alexander or forrider wrestled at 38 yet? do you think it's a given that they make the cut?

those are interesting weights. i only see mcdougle (38) and ryan (45) at the listed weights for sure. i could see the others at either.

Florider has wrestled at 138, not sure about Anthony "Super Fly" Alexander.

shoot and sprawl, I didnt mean to make it sound like timchenko eats whatever he wants, just during his days at perry i was told he usually keeps his weight pretty low year round and doesnt have to cut out a ton of water, but i could have been misinformed. In regards to Rahmani, maybe i should hold off on ranking him, but lets not forget he is a returning state placer and i believe won the top gun. As stated above, Forrider has made 38, Alexander will likely be at 38 for their christmas tournament or the week after. Also just noticed Artem will be at 120 at brecksville, so changes will be made.

I agree with people shouldn't be ranked at a weight that they have yet to wrestle.

In Rahmani's case as good as he is and technical - coming off a leg injury, being a lite 120 and a Sophomore I would be reluctant to rank anyone in that situation until they have some (W) under their belt at a new weight class. I am in no way discrediting the kid's ability he is a great wrestler who is a returning state placer (106) and that instantly gives him cred, it is just there are some heavy 120's this year who are SR's and DQ/SQ or just all around tough SOB's and I think the 3 kids behind him would also agree with that statement ;) .

Has Valenti and Rahmani ever wrestled?

I think Penzone, Valenti and Kakos are a lock for the top 3 in nor particular order, but I think 4-5 are wide open. I have a couple in mind but i'd rather hold off until the holiday results come through.

    120
    1. Giuseppe Penzone, Olentangy Liberty, Junior
    2. Sam Valenti, Hilliard Darby, Senior
    3. Brad Kakos, Franklin Heights, Senior (spent time at 20 and 26, will be 20 for sectionals)

Most of all - I am just glad a discussion is finally taking place. Ohio Wrestling has been depressing in terms of results, rankings, discussions etc.. so this has been great to see someone step forward with some reading material. Thank you for that Oldskoolnike

    Just my opinion

Valenti and Kakos wrestled back when they were both 103s at Districts in 2011. Valenti won 7-3

oldskoolnike, Nice job on your rankings. Glad you took the time and patience to do it. I know it is not an easy task and by judging by your few disagreements, you did great.

  • ptown3
Just some results from new albany tournament, Sunkle (PC) had 22-9 win over JJ Tipton of Amanda Clearcreek and a 20-7 win over Zach Gibson of Bloom Carrol. Bondurant (PC) over Hannible Tate of Mifflin. Good wins for pick central 160 and 170 pounders.

he was 20 at the lick co tournament and looks like a natural 120, not much cutting

You all have a great year. Goodbye!

Also from New Albany, Mills over Yarger @152.

Reliable source tells me Yarger is going to slide down to 45. Mills is a good #4 at 52.
  • iGranby
Also, I think Miller is likely 3rd at 45, if Yarger makes the cut Id have him at 3/4. Hopefully the two meet up in the Dual meet.

Mifflin is d2, but Yarger down to 45 would shake things up a bit.
