  How does this work? Do the teams wrestle dual brackets to determine the champion for each sub-region and then those two sub-region champions compete in a dual to see who moves on?

  I read through the regulations and they don't really explain how everything will work - unless I'm missing something. From what I've read, and what I'm guessing on from there:
  
  
  Let's take Region 13A as an example, the teams in Region 13A will be seeded 1 through 8. On Jan 23rd, there will be 2 Regional Quarterfinals. Seeds 1,3,5,7 will meet at the Seed 1 school and Seeds 2,4,6,8 will meet at the Seed 2 School. Can anyone confirm if I'm right thus far?
  
  
  If I'm correct - or even close, can someone explain how one of these events will work? Taking the regional quarterfinal held at the Seed 1 school - Will Seed 1 dual Seed 7? and then Seed 3 dual Seed 5? Then the winners of those 2 duals will dual each other. Will just the winner of that advance to the Regional semi-final? Or will both advance and the winner moves up in seeding for the Regional semi-final??

  i read through the rules and didn't see anything specific either regarding teh actual format
  
  what I gathered is all teams in each sub-region will meet at one school for a dual tournament.
  
  if there is no need to determine places second through whatever, then only the winners will advance until a final sub-region champion is crowned. If this assumption is correct (and it might not be!!) then half the teams at any given sub-region will go one-and-done.

  A 10 school sub region, seeded 1 to 10. Assume seeding is accurate.
  The tournament is single elimination.
  
  
  week 1, regional quarter finals. Two schools from each location move on.
  At seed 1: 5 schools
  Round 1
  9 vs 8
  Round 2
  1 vs 8
  4 vs 5 (they might wrestle this in round 1 since it is independent of the other matches)
  
  At seed 2: 5 schools
  Round 1
  10 vs 7
  Round 2
  2 vs 7
  3 vs 6 (they might wrestle this in round 1 since it is independent of the other matches)
  
  
  
  
  Week 2, Regional Semifinals
  At Seed 1: 4 schools
  Round 1
  1 vs 4
  2 vs 3
  Round 2
  1 vs 2
  
  Week 3, regional finals
  At seed 1 of region A: (if 2 wins in half region A and 1 wins in half region B, Then B1 will host)
  1A vs 1B - Winner qualifies to state tournament.
