Pickerington North Tournament (12/15)

  Teams involved for the 2012 installment.
  
  Pickerington North (Gutierrez, Snyder, Ferguson, Notestines, and a few I’m sure I’m missing)
  
  Canal Winchester (Hammonds, they had another lightweight - can’t remember his name - along with Lacey up top.)
  
  Dublin Scioto (Trocchio, Akatsu, perhaps some others)
  
  Franklin Heights (Kakos and a mid-upper weight (maybe 160 or 170)).
  
  Grove City (Evanichko is tough. They also have a couple lightweights. I want to say Shoemaker but I thought he graduated.)
  
  Groveport Madison (Will win this tournament with their ‘A’ team, so they are bringing their ‘B’ team in order to let others compete.)
  
  Hamilton Township (I know they have Ray around 152, along with a few upper weights.)
  
  Hilliard Darby (Pick a weight class... they are tough. Garrett, Valenti the Older, Donatelli the Lighter, Booth, Donatelli the Heavier, Black, Parker, Walker, etc.)
  
  Hilliard Davidson (Gill, Smith, Wilson, Lawler, - not sure if Backenstoe graduated or not - Gusan.)
  
  Gahanna Lincoln (The McDougles. And they have a 160 I do believe. Strong kid.)
  
  Olentangy Orange (Fath, Heilman, Saloom, Timchenko, Kamba, Rini, Hines, Hipsher, and Wicks.)
  
  Sidney (NO CLUE!!! Brulport???)
  
  Teays Valley (Nace, Kinzer, and the DQ around 126. (Too lazy to look up the name...hoping it hits me by the time I’m done with this post.)
  
  Troy (Dayton team. Roster unknown to me. Could have 11 district placers. I have no clue though.)
  
  Valley View (Ranked pretty high in their area in D-II. I’m going out on a limb and saying one of their kids last name is Day. Just a hunch that somewhere in the 14 weight classes, a Day will appear.)
  
  Westerville South (Theising is tough. They could have a few others as well.)
  
  Should be a great tournament. See you then, gents!
  
  Is it Dooley for Teays Valley!?!?!?! DQ at 113 or 120 last year??? Maybe!?!?!

  News flash: Dayton Christian is NOT at this tournament.
  
  Also, I think the team race has Darby and Orange out front, followed by Davidson, Pick. North, Valley View fighting for the 3 through 5 spots, followed by Teays Valley and Hamilton Township. My guess is Sidney finds it's way in to the 3 through 7 spots, but I'm not sure where.
  
  Then again, I could be WAY OFF!!!

  And lest I forget... Gahanna has a 220 or heavyweight that will eat a 106 pounder if he's hungry enough. Coaches... keep a close eye on your little guys.
  
  My hope is that I get to see that 220 wrestle from a mat away. I fear what he might do to me or my kids.
  
  Yes... He's THAT much of a beast. Reminds me of the Elder kid from a couple years back. Or Arnold during the mid-70's. YIKES!!!

  For Orange, Wicks and Hipsher are B team guys, so not on this weekend.
  
  Timchenko is fine and wrestling tonight vs. UA, at 126 this weekend. Chad Farmer (12) at 120 is 5-0
  
  @Cruiser....don't be so quick to annoint Orange. We have a lot of unproven guys in the line-up.
  
  Darby, Davidson, Teays and Pick all more experienced.

  This should be a good one can't wait till Saturday alot of very good wrestlers in this one and I would think the team battle will have both Hilliard schools at the top both very solid.
