This past week our Ohio Schoolboy National Team competed at Schoolboy Nationals in Indiana. It was a brutal tournament many of our wrestlers got 21 matches in. This of group of young men conducted themselves as true warriors of the sport. Many of the of teams would have alternate wrestler's wrestle matches to give their wrestlers a break for the big matches. Not the Ohio kids they kept grinding away match after match. They placed 6th in Greco and were Runner up in freestyle. What I was most proud was of was their final Dual against Illinois, for most of our wrestlers it was their 21st match you could see the wear and tear and toll wrestling that many matches against the best kids in the nation on there faces. Then you lookked to the Illinois team much larger fresher team and you thought our boys might just mentally break but as I watch every single Ohio wrestler step on the mat they brought it, win or lose every single one them gave it their all! I Could not have been more proud of them, as all Ohio should be for representing us so well.
