Dad4SportsSome early projections posted by Bucksman on another site:
103
Heil (StEd) and Tomasello (CVCA) will be floating as blinds in this weight. Fiorucci (Olent), Marisco (PNorth), and Murdock (DCoff) top this weight. Fiorucci was 8th at state, Marisco qualified, while Murdock was an SA last year at 103 -- then again, none probably make it out of Massillon Perry at this weight. Millin (MP) also floats blind.
112
Goebel (Elm) is the defending champ and a state champ. That said, I think this is still an open and interesting weight to follow. The other top six seeds are all in play here - Langdon (Clay), Ratay (CVCA), Luria (Mas), Griffith (Med), and Moore (StEd).
119
Artip (Mas), Kunzi (WM), and Caston (San) are the favorites in a weight without that true heavy hitter.
125
Interesting four person battle with Stone (OH), Sako (StEd), Hannan (MP), and Reed (Can). Dobben (CVCA) could be a sleeper for placement though..
130
Clark (StEd) is still not back for competition. In his absence this is an open weight class. Warner (Clay) may be the favorite. A sleeper among the non-seeds would be Hammer (Med).
135
Vargo (CVCA) is the top seed, Martin (StEd) is the eight seed. That would be a very interesting quarterfinal -- so would the Mirman (MHi) and Meuer (Med) matchup also in the top half. Dailey (MP) is the weight class favorite if you ask me and the two seed; Barlow (Hea) the three.
140
Shepherd (Mas) is out due to injury, which is unfortunate because this is a great weight class with or without him. The way the seeds set up, Miller (OH) has a CLEAR path for the final. Foster (MP) is the two seed in a half with the 3/6 match being Van Curen (StEd) and Garbrandt (NP). Alec Marisco (PN) is floating as a solid non-seed, or eight seed.
145
Very solid weight within the top four seeds -- not sure on order -- Fondale (NLex), Salupo (StEd), Grandominico (Olent), and Valliant (San). The pick to win from this corner is Salupo.
152
This weight will come down to Sommers (CVCA) and Witt (OH) at the end of the day, and I would tab Witt as the slight favorite. I think McGrain (OF) would be third best here. Solid non-seeds are Bui (PN) and Hammer (Med).
160
Sulzer (StEd) will DOMINATE this weight class. Will be interesting to follow the freshman Kluk (MHi)
171
Terrific big three in this weight with Demas (WN) as the anchor, and a likely Ironman semi rematch as the MIT semi with Alexnader (Fin) wrestling against Utley (CVCA).
189
Schaefer (WSN) would be the favorite in this weight class. Looking for a non-seed to follow, check out the freshman Tayse (MP).
215
Should come down to Wise (MP) and Bloom (Nap). Carrow (Buck) and Lamancusa (PN) have had nice starts for their season and project to the 4/5 quarterfinal bout.
285
Solid group of HVY's here. I like Gladstone (Fin) and Carpenter (Sher) best. Quallich (Buck), Endicott (Crest), and Lee (NLex) have state tournament experience. Ironman placers Mayes (MP) and Kuhar (StEd) will be floating around in the non-seed glob. -
