Nace can beat McDougle and has already beat Strope comfortably this year. Dooley is on the edge but he is wrestling very tough lately. So do you really think that all that was said about Teays and the guys they are bringing is not realistic? No it is very realistic. Travis Luft is tough, Brocky Leidecker has beaten every opponent pretty much in the central district, Lybarger is about the only one left he hasn't wrestled. Am I a little biased Dirty? Yes, but everything i said about them is something that could happen and has a great chance to happen. Nace has beaten everyone in his bracket this year as well, atleast the top name kids he has. Little Nace has not wrestled Wimer yet, but I think he beats wimer. Wimer got thrashed by Rahmani and nace beat Rahmani 5-0 at Brecksville.

You think what you want and have your opinion too, lets see your rankings.
    Olentangy 12/03/0011 106 Champ Semi Nace, Luke - Teays Valley (10) (BR:1-106-12) Win D 5-2
That is the result from Josh Wimer vs. Luke Nace earlier this year.

4 qualifiers YESSS.... 3 District Champs NOOOO (not impossible though)
your 113 "Thats Favoritism" he does not have state qualifier results
Nace has already lost to Wimer, you and me both know Payton G. is the better wrestler , so thats some more favoritism
Luft has already lost to Boyd, and if you want to say luft gets it done when it counts. Then ill take Fosco to take the weight because he PINNED his was through districts last year
Liedecker is your district champ. i can't argue with that one
And i hate to make excuses for a guy like Rahmani but he was sick at Brecksville.
Big Nace His results show Inconsistency
At least Strope consistently makes it to the Semis and loses out or wins the tournament almost every time

SO. yes all of your rankings are POSSIBLE (anything is possible) but not likely
Leave the Rankings to Josh Lowe guy seems to know what he is talking about

Thanks Westie. I forgot that Central Crossing was at Olentangy.

You could be right but I say Luft and Leidecker win for sure. Nace is on the bubble. He will have to wrestle very tough against Strope and McDougle. The Nace McDougle match is always a toss up. They could just flip a coin to see who wins. lol.

AND i already did my rankings... A little while back, take a look at them!

I edited that comment by the way, posted it before i meant to

Hey I dont care. It will all play out this weekend. I do them for fun and for conversation. Not to get bashed by you, but hey find me at Darby and ill shake your hand.

Am I a Brian Brakeman or Bucksman??? Heck no. I just look at the brackets and give my opinion.

As far as being biased. I don't think anything that i have said is too far fetched. Dooley only lost to Chang at Watkins because he got caught. He took every shot and pushed the action the entire time. He is better than alot of ppl give him credit for.
  • Dirtyscramble
C-man dont get me wrong i like when people do rankings, just before you do them be a little less biased i loved that you gave a lot of upsets!

Lets not get hastey here, lol. Chang took several shots, witch Dooley did fend off, respectively. Same thing can be said for Dooley, taking shots wich were fended off. Chang got Dooley in a front head lock position after defending a shot and pancaked him, twice. If he only got hit with it once, or if he was winning by 4 and got hit with a 5 point move, I would agree that he "got caught" but, like I stated..lol. I'm not Bashing on Dooley, or Teays, or anyone, and I usually don't get all fired up, but, saying that the kid "only lost because he got caught" is a little off base in my opinion, a little more respect should be given, just like you want more respect to be given for Dooley. I'm sure no harm/ no foul was intended, but, I was there and saw the match, and he didn't "get caught" in my opinion at least. :p

From what ive seen dooley wrestles the majority if his matches close, hes not the kida guy you can look on paper and predict where hes gonna win and lose, compare scores etc.

You're right I shouldn't have said only lost because he got caught. But you take away a 5 point move and it was 4-2 with about 30 seconds left and he was pushing the action, Chang had already been hit for stalling once before that too.

Agreed, the stalling calls come as a result of that kids style I think though, a lot of motion/ foot work to set up shots, not a lot of tying up, I've just seen that out of many of Coach Ball's guys over the past few years, but, I'm getting off subject, haha. I think Dooley has been underrated all year too, maybe not as much as you, but, just know that other people have noticed him, and see big things coming!

I think Nace will have to wrestle to his top potential to win this weight. Nace/McDougle always is exciting but McDougle looked like he had Nace's number last week, but anything can happen at Darby. Dooley got a very nice draw and I could see a potential to get out, but he's going to have to win some big matches.

I hate to make excuses, buuuuut, I am going to anyway.

Very similar to when people say "with all due respect..." you just know something is coming that includes no respect.

HAHAHAH that kids gonna be a state champ... he doesn't need my excuses because he probably doesn't really know who i am

Hey Snugly what happened to McGuire why didn't he wrestle at sectionals? why'd he leave briggs and go to north?
  • Cthelites
    Great stuff devil!
Thnx for putting that out there to talk about.
I like your purple tinted view tho lol! Why not...they are your rankngs.

I dont get it? there colors are Navy and Gold?

    More rankings and comments please.

Dirty, I am not sure. I follow North and wish them well as long as it doesn't conflict with Central, but I have no insight on McGuire or why he left Briggs as I am too busy making sure my own kids make weight and remember their shoes.

Ok, Ill go with 170. 1rd winners. Pickett (no brainer), Kline (i want to pick Roberts here because he has wrestled better competition though), Kuszmaul (junkyard dog is just tough), Riggs (nice to see him showing his potiential), Daniels (took him over Hall cause hes a Jr and Halls a Fr) , Bowens (he is looking for payback vs Fox so watchout), Funk (hes done much better vs good wrestlers than Sowery)and Sierawski (hasnt been pinned nearly as many times as Maynard...wow).

I agree with most, but I see Roberts over Kline and Fox over Bowens. That is if he keeps him off his head and his nasty chin whip.
Also, I am a little bias as well, but think Maynard can pull the upset over Sierawski. He gave Kline all he could handle at Sectionals and is wrestling his best lately.
  • Sid
I dont see the Bowens vs Fox bout even being close. Bowens is too experienced and pissed. Like I said I want to pick Roberts over Kline. Kline was in a very very weak 170 Sectional and has done nothing. So I could see that. Like I said Maynard has been pinned a ton of times. But, Sierawski isnt very good.
