matbuggCongratulations to Dakota Stanley ... I've enjoyed watching the matches between Dakota and my son (Martin/Smithville). Unfortunately due to an unsportsmanlike wrestler and coaches actions (which I've been told have been used quite often this year) my son was disqualified and received approx. 15 stitches in his shoulder. I wish Dakota the best at State and hope to see him standing high on the podium!

I watched that match and feel bad for your son, I have seen him wrestle many times and was pulling for him to make the trip to Columbus.matbugg;1097322 wrote:Congratulations to Dakota Stanley ... Thank You!
I talked to Colton after WCAL and he seemed like a great kid! I felt horrible for him in that match that he surely would have won, as he was leading 3-0 at the time. Several Coaches stated that the young man that wrestled your son had a history of the same behavior. Such a shame! Let Colton know we enjoyed wrestling him and and his sportsmanship is great! Surely that comes from parenting/coaching, (unlike his last opponent).
Thank you for the well wishes and Good Luck to your son in all future endeavors! -

I saw the match too with your son. Felt so bad for him. Hopefully he will have a speedy recovery. Karma is a "B", and that other kids day will come.matbugg;1097322 wrote:Congratulations to Dakota Stanley ... I've enjoyed watching the matches between Dakota and my son (Martin/Smithville).
