Stallion Wrestling Club to host Spring club featuring Nick Preston

    NICK PRESTON: **2 TIME *NCAA ALL-AMERICAN @ OSU; US FREESTYLE NATIONAL
    TEAM MEMBER “04” & “08”; OLYMPIC HOPEFUL
    Nick Preston will instruct the club as well as other guest clinicians.
    Guest clinicians include current and former OSU wrestlers and staff.
    Learn new techniques, improve old ones, and build confidence with some
    of the best coaches in Central Ohio!
    • * *Location: St Francis DeSales High School **4212 Karl Road
    Columbus, Ohio43224
    • * *When: Club Sign-ups Tuesday, March 20th from 5:30-6:00 pm. Club will
    run every Tuesday & Thursday through Thursday May, 24th from
    6:00-7:30. *There will be no club on April 5th ,10th & 12th due to
    spring break
    • * *Cost: $125 **Non club members can come for a single session at $20
    The DeSales Wrestling Club will focus on Folk style and Freestyle
    techniques throughout the club. Technique will vary and is flexible
    depending on individual needs and preferences. *Live wrestling
    participation is encouraged but will be optional.
    The mission of the DeSales Wrestling Club is to offer the best
    competition and knowledge to help every wrestler achieve their goals.
    We want to create a workout environment that is fun and exciting for
    wrestlers of all age and experience levels.

    I really hope they can kick this program back up again. It's a shame not seeing Columbus st. Francis desales in the top ten every year at the state tournament anymore. Such a great tradition of winning at this school.

    Who can attend? - Age/Grades?

    I would assume all ages, but with the caveat that that age level can grasp the concepts. My 3 year old might not benefit, but my 8 year old would type of thing.

    I know the staff a little but they seem like they would welcome maybe 3rd graders on up. If I'm wrong on my assumption l'll post it.

    As always with spring and summer stuff, try to bring your own partner, someone around the same weight, age and skill level to ensure a partner.
