12-man, bracket-styled tournament. I think with the teams we have this year, it should be a great day of wrestling.

New for this year is a website. (Special shout-out to BoroFan for tipping me off to webs.com)

    www.TheCruiserInvitational.webs.com

The site will be updated as I get rosters and then again as the tournament unfolds.

Hope all is healthy and this year rocks like it has the past two years.

    Ohhh cool site!

Nice website, but I would expect a tournament of the magnitude of THEE CRUISER INVITAIONAL to include past years results.

Is it not showing under brackets!?!?!?!?!?!

If you do go under brackets, and it's not there, please tell me. I uploaded the files. They should be. And if they are, check out 103. SICK!!!! ;)

Disregard - Simple User error. Clearly, a complete website to supplement the complete tournament.
Still doing the framed brackets? My kid loved the one he won.
  • cruiser_96
Whew! Glad to see they are available to the public!

And yes, the 24"x36" framed, plexie glass fronted brackets are still going strong. It's nice to know that they are appreciated. I think the kids should receive a reward fitting to their accomplishments. Thanks for the view.

    7 days!!! :D :D :D

One of the best tourneys around. I agree that 103 last year was pretty awesome. Loved the video of the finals.;)

Very nice brackets! That is awesome! I didn't know you did that! Very cool. Keep up the good work cruiser! Cruiser Invitational will be up there with Medina and Brecksville, maybe even Ironman!

Cruiser is my boy, but even if he wasn't, this tournament has turned into a very good one, very quick. Looking forward to another excellent event...

USMC: the tournaments you listed are trying to become TCI.

1prouddad: Wogan... Not Woogan. I think I got it. ;)

Yes they're cruiser. My apologies. Lol

Line-ups are due Thursday at noon. I can have the "Participants" up by 1pm that day. After I wade through the wrestlers, I can start creating brackets and uploading them.

The only issue with uploading the brackets is that I must be finished with all of them... Actually, that might not be true. I could just upload the file as I go and just overwrite it with the same name.

The great tragedy is that by Saturday morning, it could (and possibly, will) change. Oh well. That's how it goes, I guess.

    How big are the trophies?
  • cruiser_96
Team??? 15" wood octagon for 1st, 12" for 2nd and 9" for 3rd. We order them from the same gentleman that does the D-II and D-III NCAA awards. I plan to take more pictures this year and I'll be sure to get some of the team awards. Be ready!

Can I bring my cooler into the gym?
  • cruiser_96
Not into the gym, however our cafeteria will be open. You are more than welcome to store it in there. Or, for you, I have a nice spot right next to me in the war room. Come on in and drop'r off!!! I'll watch it for you.

Terrible answer....coolers should always be welcome. Make it as fan friendly as possible.

    Not enough seating. No coolers!

Amen, Cruiser. It would be nice for the boys to put their bags in the cafeteria as well to free up some space. Are crock pots still okay in the cafeteria? Just want to make sure before I select the food table food. Thanks!
