I dont think hes an underdog.
He may not be the top ranked guy, buy I think he can get it done!

I think that most of the state outside of central ohio would consider him an underdog to Mark Martin, I however know first hand that he can get it done.

fields will beat kolodzik at 106, steiner will win over nelson at 120, and smith will beat spangler at 126, let the arguments begin :D

Ill take Kolodzik. Not sure about Steiner tho very possible.
I hope your right about Bobby!
  • Underrated
I'll take Fields. I don't think Steiner can even hang close to Nelson. I would also love to see Bobby do it is a long shot.
  • Power half
I think Feucht (West Jefferson) 126 has a good shot at upsting some people.

Every major tournament You see a kid get killed or majored in the championship round and the score completely swings the other way in the consi's rematch. You see great kids have bad days for reasons the crowd knows nothing about and then the crowd jumps to the wrong conclusion as to who is the favorite and who isn't. The kids will settle it on the mat and it will come down to who is peaking or sick and slumping on that given day!

Kolodzik is the real deal. I'm a huge central ohio bias but I just dont know if Fields can pull it off.

I don't think fields beats Kolodzik. for a while now I've thought Pickett was a clear underdog to Martin, but I think it may be a case of reverse bias. I've watched and worked with Pickett over the years and I think I may be to close to give an accurate assessment. When you look at their records this year, they've both lost to National level guys and they've both been equally dominant against Ohio competition. I will say this, Pickett will match Martin in athletisim and grit. He has a huge wrestling vocabulary and is excellent all postions. His long fram can give even the best wrestlers fits. I still think he's an underdod, but a Pickett win wouldn't surprise me at all. He's certainly much closer to Martin than Fields is to Kolodzik.

I saw someone on another site calling Luke Langdon (Claymont) over Nathan Tomasello. I don't see it, but I guess anything's possible.

It's not an upset in my eyes, but I think Kuhar is a clear winning over Tavenello.

I think Alex Moore beats Brandon Thompson.

Bitter I agree with all of the above except Moore over Thompson, I watched Moore wrestle alot at the clash and while he is tough, I don't know if he can pull it off cutting the weight.

If Kolodzik loses state, it sure will be an upset.

Fields over Kolodzik isn't impossible, but unlikely.

Mansfield is the new guy to beat at 120

Nelson could go 126 since he has beaten both Spanglers in freestyle over the years, might want to test new waters after his loss to Mansfield

Felipe losing is still an upset, he has to be motivated after losing at MIT, especially so he doesn't lose his chance of winning 4

Gavin Windau if at 195 is a sleeper to win it, went into with Ishmael and no one really leads the weight tremendously over everyone else. Garrett Linton is my favorite here now after dropping in a dual on Thursday!

Heffernan is at 120 this weekend on their B team, not sure if Moore beat him out at 120 or not but if so I feel bad for Heffernan. Maybe Moore will drop later in the year?

Manfield had the perfect storm. That wont happen again. Nelson stays at 120....and wins.....

Felipe "BETTER" get to 160 or 152....otherwise he makes history.....as the 1st 3x'er to not win 4. Beam will crush him at 170.

He might not make it at 60...and Erwin may defy him at 152.....

    Life choices....Life styles!

He's not in Grahams room anymore....and VERY lucky he got #3

I think that is just to get him certified there before Blair.

Does the A-Team (whatever color they are, always forget) wrestle this weekend?

    Kolodzik pins fields

I seriously doubt that... however kolodzik may have the upper hand
  • Dirtyscramble
Kolodzik beats fields by more then a couple! In the Pickett v. Martin Match. i think if Vince is the More aggressive wrestler and pushes the pace he can beat anyone. But Martin is very aggressive and i think he breaks Pickett and beat him by 5 or 6
  • Dirtyscramble
I also agree with bitter... Moore could very well win it. Even though he has been on the "b" team for 3 years. He has multiple National honors, and is a national level wrestler.

i think Bobby will come out with it all, he's only a sophomore but his determination exceeds the levels of everyone elses. Bobby will upset Fields, not a long shot.
