USMCdevil2005Is felipe down? He was all the way up at 195 lol. Pickett is the real deal man. He's on a mission this year. That would be a great finals match if it comes down to it.

CthelitesSeeds are up on Baums Page
http://www.baumspage.com/medina/2011/Seed%20Nominations.txt
Murdock at 26 and yes Felipe at 70. Even heard he drops to 60 later.
Canal kids still up weight.
The 2 new Michigan teams look like the real deal. Lots of SC and SP and SQ. -
CthelitesMIT returning State Qualifiers in the field:
6 State Champs.
12 State Finalists.
42 returning State Placers.
75 returning State Qualifiers. -
iGranbyIll take a leap of faith; Fiorucci over the detroit catholic kid in the finals, strope places top 4 in that same weight, Fosco gets top 4
-
Westie101I ment 126 for murdock sorry, and iGranby I favor Fiorucci myself, call it central ohio bias i guess.
-
iGranbyhaha, yeah, ther fact that hes a 3x state placer and a former runner up makes it okay though
-
CthelitesGood luck to all Cent Oh boys tomorrow!

Slide ByeWe won't get to see Pickett wrestle Martinez . Felipe got beat 11-5 by a kid from CVCA .
-
said_aouitaWonder how quickly he dropped the weight.
-
USMCdevil2005Where is Boswell from Canal? Didn't see his name on the brackets.
Felipe isn't as good as everyone thinks i guess. I think Pickett beats him by 5. Prezzia should have beat him last year in the finals. -

He is as good....he just dont have the room or partners to drill with he once had. Beam and Prezzia both could have beat him in the semi's and Finals both.USMCdevil2005;1029467 wrote:Where is Boswell from Canal? Didn't see his name on the brackets.

Last year he was not conditioned and too heavy in my opinion. I think that is what happened tonight too...he was wrestling a class or 2 too heavy. Got too large in the offseason. Once he makes the cut to 160...if in fact he continues to drop...he should be fine. This is a motivator...but who knows who else may end up at 160 looking for a piece of the pie. -
ptown3Jacob spearman with a 4-0 win over cody burcher D2 state runner up last year. Wow.
-
1_beastSpearman was 6th...definately no pushover!
-
USMCdevil2005Beast..... I know he is good. But I dont care if he is wrestling 10 pounds heavy, Being a three time state champion, you shouldn't lose to someone who isn't even a state qualifier lol.
-
CCwinCCCC boys wrestling great. Wimer, Householder lost in quarters VP in semis.

I'm with you.....I would have been slightly surprised if Burcher had won. Spearman is very tough1_beast;1029656 wrote:Spearman was 6th...definately no pushover! -

I took Spearman all day! He gave Zack Nelson a very good match at Marysville duals. Should be very tough at 113 at State. I like his physical style!Dad4Sports;1029790 wrote:I'm with you.....I would have been slightly surprised if Burcher had won. Spearman is very tough -
bribacker51Vince Pickett has been a total beast so far great job and congrat to Josh Wimer 4th at 106 and Nick Hammond 7th at 132 ( Freshman!) great job boys.
-
cruiser_96Of all of them, I was most impressed with Hammond (CW). Very, VERY nice showing.
Great job to Fiorucci, Pickett & Elflein on excellent championships; mad props to Gutierrez, Spearman and Murdock on being a finalists. Great job by all Central Ohio wrestlers on representing yourselves, your team and your school. Way to go. -
bribacker51I agree!
-
USMCdevil2005Kudos to Vince pickett. Very nice job . Great job central Ohio boys . Bring the titles home .
