HD TV and PN will be at the Pick North tourney along with Darby Canal and Gahanna. Franklin Scioto Grove City and Groveport also D1 teams there.
Should get an early snapshot on these teams.
Also in action out of the region is Ole and Orange going to the tough North Canton. And Coffman also travels out of the region to the SWOWCA(Cinci) along with Mt Vernon. Good luck to those 3 representing!
Not sure on the remaining teams Marysville Lancaster Liberty Bradley could be off this week.

Dad4SportsSince this gets asked every year.....I assume these rankings are based on tournament strength?
DeSales won't be a dual team since they are forfeiting 7 weight classes......can you believe that? DeSales with only 7 wrestlers......absolutely hard to believe.

cruiser_96D-I reflects dual meet strength. I'm not sure how the other divisions do it, but I made it clear when I submitted a loose top 10, that if changes were to be made, it was based on dual strength. One coach mentioned that he sees a top 5 finish at Darby, but will be hard pressed to win his league. Make no mistake, there is a difference.
My main issue with tournament strength is which tournament? The Kevin Cleveland Memorial? The Cruiser Inviitational!? The Ironman??? Then you have the post season!!! Usually what it gets to is (as we've seen with Blair, Eds, Graham, etc) is, "Okay, you line your team up and we'll line ours up and we'll go at it for two hours. And may the best team win!"
Just saying. -
CthelitesIf going by tourney strength then yes the tourneys need to be weighted IMO.
Of course the Cruiser invitation is second only to the Ironman so seed accordingly.
Obviously the big Holiday tourneys up north(Brecksville Medina) should get more weight, along with most of the others up there(Top Gun, N Canton Wadsworth) Also the SWOWCA is a good one this week in Cincy to keep an eye on with our local teams. -
