Any thoughts/predictions? -
Standoff22Looks like a race between TW and St Charles. GC could be in the mix and possibly take first.
-
cruiser_96I'm interested in West and Westland.
-
Standoff22What do their line ups look like?
-
cruiser_96Rumors, but, Westland is decent from about 160 and up, and West has a few very capable wrestlers. Looking forward to seeing results on Saturday night!?!?!?! Maybe??? Perhaps, even!?!?!?!?!

nykcThere is some talent at Thomas this year, not sure if they will win the tournament, but they should be competitive.
Our 120 is pretty solid - kinda flies under the radar, 3rd year wrestler was a district alternate in his first year at 103.
Just missed districts at 112 last year in Marysville.
113 - Thomas has a returning sophomore letterman, solid wrestler should place at least.
126 - Up and coming freshman, should have a solid performance.
138 - Talented and strong should do well here.
145 - Put in a lot of work over the summer, should place.
182 - 2 time District wrestler - should walk away with this one.
195 - Up and coming freshmen, I think he might be the man to watch this year. -
lion69St. Charles has some talent and experience. Two time district qualifier at 126, district qualifier at 152, junior high state placer at 120. Returning letter winners at 113,132,138,160. For the first time in three years has a heavyweight. at 145 has a solid sophmore who beat out a returning letterwinner. Should be a fun race between Grove City, Thomas, and Westland. The cards can do well here if they wrestle to their capabilities.

Knight riderResults!

Power half1st St Ed's Green
2nd North Union
3rd Grove City
I pretty sure that was the top 3 -
knightflyer150I think West finished 4th, and I'm pretty sure they finished ahead of Grove City and Westland. Cowboys looked tough, with a champ in Santi Farias and a group of placers.
-
Power halfLast time I looked at the team scores was in the 220 class. It was st ed's, north union, grove city.

3.Grove City
4.West/St. Charles tie
5.Centennial -
lion69Congratulations to St.Charles on a solid showing. The cards had three champs. Tim Rooney 120 beating state qualifier Bloss from Franklin Hts. Dustin Obergfell 138 tech falling Seymour from Centenial in finals. LLoyd Furuta 152 who beat two St. Eds kids pinning Luke in the finals. Adam Suhr finished third at 126 losing to champ Kakos from Franklin Hts 6-2 in the semis. Also, at 138 had a solid 4th place finish by non-scorer Matt Cannon. 13 out of the 14 wrestlers won at least one match. With only 3 seniors wrestling the young cards shoulsd continue to improve this season.

knightflyer150My fault!
-
sackerdrag_135My fault actually as I believe I misinformed you. I thought it went Ed's, NU, Thomas Worthington. I had Grove City and Worthington switched. Sorry.

CthelitesNice win for Rooney. Hes a tough kid and will do well this yr at 20.
Saw Shoemaker at 26 for GC. Anyone know where the Georgia SQ is?
Interesting to see St Ed Heffernan at 32.
Talk is he is cutting down to 20. Did he weigh in at 26? -
