Division 3 Rankings
-
boro fanUsually don't post on here much but I start from now on. I do rankings on yappi and other forums, these are a week or two old but I will have rankings done around December 1st that will have more accurate weights but here you are...ENJOY!!
As the season starts at midnight, here are my pre-season rankings. I've been working on these for the past few days, I only am releasing the top 10 but I have about 12-18 kids ranked at each weight and a data base full of kids that I will be following when the season starts. Next set of rankings I will release will be Decemember 1st after seeing the alpha's on NWCA. Most of these weights are pure guesses so don't freak out, some are confirmed by close sources. If I have a weight wrong PM me so I can adjust them for the Decemeber 1st rankings, Enjoy! P.S. Sorry for any grammatical errors, I did the comments last and very quickly.
106-
1. Matt Kolodzik (Miami Valley) Freshman (1st@96-JH)
2. Christian Clary (Dayton Christian) Sophomore (4th@103)
3. Kyle Keller (Delta) Sophomore (SQ@103)
4. Dakota Mays (Nelsonville-York) Freshman (4th@96-JH)
5. Jarred Ganger (Troy Christian) Freshman
6. Evan Ulinski (Woodmore) Sophomore (SQ@103)
7. Zach Alvarado (CHCA) Sophomore (SQ@103)
8. Ryan Behringer (Ayersville) Senior
9. Damian Short (Archbold) Freshman (7th@90-JH)
10. Cory Pucci (Cuyahoga Hts.) Sophomore
Comments: Kolodzik leads the group here by a fair amount, Clary and Keller seem to be next in this group ahead of the rest, not sure what weight Clary will be since I haven’t seen any summer results but I heard isn’t very big. Ganger is my sleeper here, he has Hancock in the room to get better. Ulinski and Alvarado are solid here and with experience in Columbus I think that could solidify some strong results come tournament time. Behringer is a senior and from what I hear will most likely start at 113 and then drop to 106 by late January, this is all depending on his alpha. Short will most likely be very small for 106 and will be challenged in the room by Coffey and Eggers, maybe Coffey ends up here for Archbold. I chose Pucci over McCoy (Swanton) and Thomas (Westfall) for the final spot, Pucci had a bad draw at Districts for his match to go which he didn’t even make it to, he lost to Roginsky, which is whom he beat in the sectional semi-finals. Another note, if Durbin is here then he would be 4th, he was rather tall last year but did wrestle 90 in 8th grade so it’s a possibility.
113-
1. Austin Reese (Mechanicsburg) Sophomore (3rd@103)
2. Garrett Hancock (Troy Christian) Freshman (2nd@102-JH)
3. Robert Carter (Dayton Northridge) Junior (SQ@103)
4. Zach Durbin (Mapleton) Sophomore (SQ@103)
5. Mike Hozan (Black River) Junior (8th@103)
6. Damian Outward (Martins Ferry) Junior (SQ@103)
7. Andrew Slonkosky (Versailles) Junior
8. Jordan McKnight (Carlisle) Sophomore
9. Chandler Minnard (Bloom-Carroll) Freshman
10. Lewis Roginsky (Brooklyn) Sophomore
Comments: Very weak after the top 2! Austin Reese leads the group by a little here, wrestled very well at Disney and solidified himself as my #1 here. Hancock also wrestled well at Disney but didn’t fair so well at Super32, I think he will improve as the season goes on. Carter returns from a season that he missed most of but still did qualify for state, I look for him to improve. Durbin whom may be at 106 should fair well, I was impressed by his district performance which I followed very closely. Hozan who beat Carter last year finished 8th, I look for him to improve and should receive a better draw this year as long as he doesn’t finish 4th at districts. Outward is the only other SQ I evaluated here, he had a huge win in the first round of the consolation bouts. Slonkosky was a match away last year, he will jump up the rankings at a very weak weight. Mcknight is my sleeper here, he has Sandlin in the room to workout with, he could stick out at this weak weight. Minnard is very funky and defensive, he wrestled Carson to the final minute last year at JH States and impressed me a lot. Roginsky is a kid I’m not sure how to evaluate since Brooklyn wrestles a weak schedule, I thought he was very big at 113, you might see him at 120. If anyone of my ranked guys at 120 drop here, they would be top 6 and maybe higher, this WEIGHT IS VERY WEAK!
120-
1. Zach Nelson (Waynedale) Junior
2. Cody Stiener (Waynesville) Senior (2nd@112)
3. Cade Mansfield (Ayersville) Senior
4. Sammy Gross (Beachwood) Sophomore (3rd@112)
5. Bobby Smith (Bishop Ready) Sophomore (5th@103)
6. Casey Johns (Cardinal) Junior (4th@112)
7. Zon Fields (Marion Pleasant) Senior (6th@103)
8. Kyle Ferguson (Manchester) Senior (7th@112)
9. Damian Showman (Seneca East) Senior (8th@112)
10. Jesse Gross (Norwalk St. Paul) Sophomore (SQ@112)
Comments: Wide open weight and maybe the deepest in division 3. Nelson leads a group that is filled with contenders, from what I hear he will most likely start at 126 but will have the option to drop and it would be beneficial if he did. Steiner has state finals experience along with Mansfield, but Mansfield failed to qualify last year and that’s the only thing that separates them in the rankings. I evaluated Gross at 120 because he wrestled there for Super32 but from what I hear he may drop to 113 where he would become an instant title contender with a field that is watered down thanks to transfers and division realignments. Smith doesn’t win in the prettiest fashion but he’s tough to score on, he might be at 126. Johns made the most of his first trip to Columbus by finishing very high, he almost lost his match to place to Gross 4-3. Fields cuts a lot of weight and I wouldn’t be surprised if he is at 113. Ferguson can shoot up the rankings all depending on the weekend he is having, a lot of potential and very hard to wrestle due to his height. Showman returns from an 8th place finish. His experience will be vital for him to return to Columbus. I chose Gross over McCormick (Lima CC) and Sandlin (Carlisle) due to his close match versus Johns in Columbus. Anyone that drops from 120 to 113 that I’ve mentioned would be top 4 atleast!
126-
1. Jacob Danishek (Dayton Christian) Sophomore (1st@112)
2. William Spangler (Keystone) Senior (4th@119)
3. Ben Timmons (Lakota) Senior (5th@119)
4. Dalton Hiltibran (Mechanicsburg) Senior (6th@119)
5. Gennar Feucht (West Jefferson) Junior (SQ@119)
6. Joe Broadman (Tiffin Calvert) Senior (SQ@119)
7. Zach Campbell (Pymatuning Valley) Junior (SQ@119)
8. Billy Crock (Waterford) Senior (SQ@119)
9. Alex Guerra (SMCC) Junior
10. Nick Chuha (Cuyahoga Hts.) Junior (SQ@119)
Comments: Rather weak after the top 2 kids for having so much state experience here but D3 as a whole is rather weak this year. Danishek leads the group here, I wish he was able to compete at Super32 but he was a no-show, he is on pace for 4 state titles and Spangler seems to be the only threat here unless Nelson (Waynedale) is here then I think it’s a three-man race. Timmons and Hiltibran return here, both who were 9th and 10th in my rankings last year respectively exceeded my expectations. Feucht who wrestled most of last year at 112 and 119 wasn’t given an option when Branham cut to 112 but he still ended up qualifying for Columbus and I think is a very solid wrestler, not sure who he has in the room to workout with around his weight. Broadman and Crock return after a trip to Columbus where they both gained experience. Campbell was unable to make weight and that allowed to Chuha to have a chance of competing. Chuha went 0-2 with 2 tough losses and I think it would have been the same for Campbell but Campbell will have the rookie jitters this year and Chuha will not. Guerra failed to qualify last year after qualifying as a freshman; I think he improves this year to be atleast a qualifier. No other real top 10 contenders were evaluated here so this 10 looks like a solid group. Kenny Price (Archbold) could be a sleeper if here but I evaluated him at 132, Dion Perez could also end up here.

1. Ryan Harris (Beachwood) Sophomore (7th@125)
2. Jared VanVleet (Edgerton) Junior (4th@125)
3. Brian Spangler (Keystone) Senior (SQ@125)
4. Thomas McLaughlin (Nelsonville-York) (SQ@119)
5. Dustin Grier (Norwayne) Senior (SA@125)
6. Ian Baker (Shadyside) Junior (SQ@135)
7. Dion Perez (Tuslaw) Senior (SQ@119)
8. Devin Talbott (Hannibal River) Junior (SQ@125)
9. Grant Fidler (Monroeville) Sophomore (SA@125)
10. Jared Dilley (Amanda Clearcreek) Junior (SA@125)
Comment: Harris leads the group in my opinion after having what many thought was a disappointing state tournament but he was only a freshman and gained valuable experience that not many freshman can say they did. Harris lost a lot of close matches at Disney to kids with impressive resumes. VanVleet wrestled great in Columbus last year and got hot at the right time, even had a win over Harris 3-2. Spangler is a kid who I thought under-performed last year at the end but seems to be back on track with an impressive win at Super32. McLaughlin is very solid and had a big win over Zach Nelson last year but then in Columbus had a few tough matches, which prevented him from placing losing 8-7 in the match-to-place. Grier was the odd man out at a tough district weight but has state experience and also a very tricky frame which can cause fits to some, he will improve drastically and should place. Baker wrestled 135 last year but I don’t think can beat Kinemond so 132 seems like the logical option and I think he can place here. Perez wrestled 125 for almost the entire season last year until dropping to 119 and it seemed like a good choice as he made it to Columbus, I’m guessing he goes 132 to start and maybe drops, either way I think he contends for a low to mid placement. Talbott who many think will fall-off due to no one in the room to wrestle with still has accomplishments to stay ranked as of now, he’s very solid and should contend for a low-placement. Dilley and Fidler can be sleepers here, both were alternates last year but I like Fidler’s chances a little bit better because of his district where I have him 2nd as of now but a few guys are right on his backside. Guerra (SMCC), Wardell (Waynedale) and Price (Archbold) are next best here and will contend!
138-
1. Jeremy Border (Caldwell) Senior (2nd@125)
2. Zane Nelson (Waynedale) Junior
3. Wyatt Music (Ashland Crestview) Junior
4. Luke Kern (Delta) Senior (8th@130)
5. Cody Laney (Hicksville) Senior (5th@130)
6. Kyler Deeter (Covington) Junior (4th@130)
7. Carl Moody (Nelsonville-York) Senior (6th@135)
8. Thomas Williams (Johnstown-Northridge) Junior
9. Chase Kinemond (Shadyside) Junior
10. Colt Lovejoy (Allen East) Senior (7th@130)
11. Brett Fortune (West Salem Northwestern) Senior (SQ@130)
12. Jamie Baldridge (Northmor) Sophomore (SQ@135)
13. Logan Reichert (SMCC) Senior (SQ@130)
14. J.J. Diven (Waterloo) Junior (SQ@130)
15. Drew Webster (Trimble) Senior (SQ@130)
16. Josh Russo (Huron) Senior (5th@135-KY)
Comments: I’m showing the top 16 here because of how deep it is! Border leads the group here which in my opinion is the deepest weight slighty over 120. Border and Nelson would be a great match but the deciding factor was Border’s performance in Columbus while Nelson was unable to compete due to his transfer from Tuslaw to Waynedale. Music returns from an injury plagued season, he did well as a freshman and is on my board to start the season. Laney is also a contender here and could finish high. Deeter who wrestled a great tournament last year in Columbus got hot at the right time and I’m not too sold on his performance just yet. Moody, who sports the ugliest headgear in the state (HAHA) returns and with the drill partners he has in the room, he should contend for a high placement. Williams and Kinemond seem about even, neither were SQ’s last year like the other guys I have in the top 15 but both are very solid! They wrestled head-to-head last year where Williams won but Kinemond does have state experience so it was very hard deciding to put who ahead of whom. Lovejoy is very solid but I think he would fare better down at 132, hopefully he has the option come February. I chose Lovejoy over many solid contenders of Fortune (West Salem NW), Baldridge (Northmor), Reichert (SMCC), Diven (Waterloo) and Webster (Trimble), all of these guys were SQ’s last year. THIS WEIGHT IS LOADED!!! A deep sleeper that not many people know of is Josh Russo who is transferring from a school in Kentucky where he placed at state to Huron. He is very funky, athletic and quick and will be fun to watch, could be here or 145, watch him, he doesn’t disappoint!
145-
1. Jordan Marshall (Troy Christian) Junior (3rd@145)
2. Grant Blumenthal (Beachwood) Senior
3. Zach Wilson (Bluffton) Junior (4th@140)
4. Zach Niner (Liberty Center) Junior (5th@135)
5. Tyler Fahrer (Delta) Sophomore (7th@140
6. Mason Gulash (Shadyside) Senior (6th@145)
7. Jacob Carpenter (Girard) Senior (SQ@135)
8. Bobby Leitwein (Nelsonville-York) (SQ@130)
9. Austin Black (Mechanicsburg) Junior (SQ@135)
10. Kameran Clemens (Wayne Trace) Senior (SQ@135)
Comments: Jordan Marshall leads the group here where I think he can be challenged but I think he is clearly the favorite. Marshall was a no-show at Super32 due to injury but from what I hear he will be practicing today so I will pencil him in here until I see him missing mat time. Blumenthal is a transfer from Twinsburg, he took 6th in a tough weight at the Mentor district and I think will climb up to a top spot on the podium in Division III. Wilson, Niner and Fahrer all seem about even to me, Niner cut a lot of weight fast at the end of the year and he would have a better shot of winning at 138 but a lot less contenders there, which could mean a higher placement. Fahrer is a kid I had ranked 8th and I don’t think Bucksman or Brakeman did, not sure how they missed him. He was a very solid freshman wrestling in a weight class that was usually filled with upperclassmen. Carpenter and Leitwein look to be up here but I’m not sure their body will show the weight unless they grew drastically, I’m high on both of them but will have to see how they fare at 145, wouldn’t be surprised to see Carpenter at 138 as he was thought to cut to 130 for the post-season last year. Black and Clemens look to contend for something higher than just qualification and all are solid wrestlers and should fare really well in this weight. The lone SQ that I evaluated here that didn’t make my top 10 is Josh Davis (Bellaire) who I think will be a contender to be on the podium. Other top 10 contenders include Stuckey (Archbold), Williams (Brookville), and Fejes (Genoa), all of them could be here or 152 from what I hear. Seth Batdorf (Ashland Crestview) could be here, he was a super frosh last year as he qualified at 125.
152-
1. Zeb Beam (Waynedale) Senior (4th@152)
2. Jordan Cowell (Archbold) Senior (5th@140)
3. Seth Heldenbrand (Hillsdale) Senior (SQ@140)
4. Jared Mattin (Delta) Junior (SQ@145)
5. Dakota Hook (Nelsonville-York) Senior (SQ@140)
6. Cody Hodge (Tuscarawas Valley) Senior (SQ@145)
7. Damen Escobedo (Gibsonburg) Senior (SA@140)
8. Isaac Valle (Fairview) Senior
9. Brad McConnell (Seneca East) Senior
10. Andrew Overstreet (Berlin WR) Sophomore
Comments: Very weak after the top 2, If Beam is here then he is the immediate favorite over Cowell. Beam who I thought would be up a few weights seems to be on track to go 152. Cowell has an impressive resume with his wins total and if he stays healthy he will have the most wins by any wrestler in Ohio History, I think he needs 45 or so. Heldenbrand cut a lot towards the end for Lima CC, and it paid off for him as he was a qualifier, I also thought he was a very good-sized 140 pounder. Jared Mattin will have Kern and Fahrer in the room with him and that should mean success and possible high-placement. Hook will be up two weights and I don’t think it’s by choice, it’s due to the occupancy of better wrestlers in N-Y’s lineup, and he is still a very solid wrestler. Hodge was the biggest surprise to me last year amongst the SQ’s, he was the only guy I don’t think I had ranked to qualify. Escobedo seems to cut weight slowly and might start anywhere from 145-160 and most likely will drop during the year. Valle and McConnell seem the lead the drop off in talent here, this is according to last year, they may have very well improved at a weight like this, and it will show. Overstreet wrestled very well for a freshman at districts, he lost to Fahrer 7-6 and Workman 13-10, he could be here or at 145. A kid to watch here is Alex Quinn (Shadyside), he didn’t wrestle last year but from what I hear he will go out for the team this year and is surrounded by talent in the room, he should contend to qualify and maybe more.

160-
1. Felipe Martinez (Genoa Area) Senior (1st@152)
2. Max Erwin (Mechanicsburg) Junior (5th@152)
3. Aaron Yonker (Garrettsville Garfield) Sophomore (8th@152)
4. Austin Ripke (Archbold) Senior (SQ@152)
5. David Shapiro (Beachwood) Senior
6. Zach Gibson (Bloom-Carroll) Sophomore (SQ@152)
7. Brendan Stanley (Waynedale) Junior
8. Matson Lance (Chippewa) Senior
9. Wyatt Dye (SMCC) Sophomore
10. Tyler Arnett (Wayne Trace) Senior
Comments: Felipe Martinez will be going for his fourth state title and people are over-looking this because many think he has fallen off, he is still on pace for four so I’m not sure how he’s “Fallen Off”. Erwin could be here or 152 but the cut to 152 I’m guessing would be very tough but if he’s there then I would have him 3rd and immediately a contender for the title. Yonker placed at 152 last year as a freshman which is a tremendous accomplishment and I think he will get higher and higher on the podium in the next few years and possibly win a state title. Ripke is a kid I’m high on, not many are but I like his style and who he has around him on his team. Shapiro should be down a weight from last year but I’m not sure if it will help him according to the forecast I show, both weights he is around 5th or so. Gibson and Dye are sophomores who I think will improve drastically this year as both wrestled decent at Super32. Stanley and Lance exit the same district, both are solid and look to be mid to low placers. I chose Arnett over Theil (Hicksville) for the final spot.
170-
1. Jarrod Zang (Bishop Hartley) Senior (SA@160-DII)
2. Jacob Bresciani (Coshocton) Senior (5th@171)
3. Garrick Montgomery (Ashland Crestview) Senior (SQ@171)
4. Adrian Mack (Lima Bath) Sophomore
5. Jimmy Speith (Liberty Center) Junior (SQ@160)
6. Grant Price (Mohawk) Junior (SQ@160)
7. J.R. Conyers (Allen East) Senior (SQ@160)
8. Travis Linton (Rootstown) Sophomore
9. Nick Hughes (Seneca East) Senior
10. Tyler Rufenacht (Archbold) Senior
Comments: Jarrod Zang seems like the early favorite slight over the very athletic Bresciani. Zang was a state alternate in DII and the move to DIII could mean a big reward. Bresciani from what I hear will start at 182 and might drop later in the year, it would be very beneficial as 170 looks wide open. Montgomery could return here, he will be a very big and solid 170 pounder. Mack wrestled very well for a freshman last year at 160 and I think will contend for a mid-placement. Speith and Price seem about even, both very solid and should fare well here. Conyers is very athletic and quick, not really sure on what weight for him but whether its 160-182, he will be very dangerous. Hughes was a kid I was high on for the first part of last season but sort of faded compared to his sophomore year, I wouldn’t be surprised if he placed. I chose Rufenacht instead of Tipton (Amanda Clearcreek) for the final spot but he could be a sleeper here!
182-
1. Kevin Stock (Garrettsville Garfield) Junior (4th@171)
2. BJ Toal (Troy Christian) Junior (2nd@171)
3. Zach Mays (Nelsonville-York) Junior (SQ@160)
4. Steven Farrow (Garaway) Senior (SQ@171)
5. Sam Groff (Sandy Valley) Junior
6. Jeff Oberdick (Martins Ferry) Senior
7. Steven Petroff (Ashland Crestview)
8. Kale Rayner (Caldwell) Junior
9. Daniel Kwiat (Tiffin Calvert) Senior
10. Tate Ankney (Ayersville) Junior
Comments; I chose Stock over Toal even though Toal outplaced him last year in the same weight class. They never wrestled last year and I think Stock’s style would give Toal fits, Stock has a motor that runs and Toal usually is running on empty in the third. Mays moves up to the upperweights from 160 last year. This will help him in placing and helping the team, as long as he can make the adjustment to the difference then I think he’ll finish high. Farrow sort of came out of nowhere last year and I think even missed quite a few matches but showed up when it mattered. Groff and Oberdick I thought under-performed at the end of the year but I still think they top six material. Petroff who might be at 195 due to Montgomery’s size trying to make 170, he will contend for a final spot on the podium and maybe be the x-factor for a higher team finish for Crestview. Rayner and Ankney come in as kids who had to adjust to the weight last year wrestling so high so young but I think they bounce back to contend for a spot in Columbus. Kwiat I think is a sleeper, his family seems like always has a kid on the team and they usually perform well in their junior and senior years!
195-
1. Dalton Ishmael (North Baltimore) Junior (5th@189)
2. Tyler Beck (Northmor) Junior (8th@189)
3. David Gremling (Lima CC) Senior (SQ@189)
4. Kaleb Campbell (Dixie) Senior (SQ@189)
5. Jake Sheehy (Genoa Area) Senior (SA@189)
6. Napolean Bell (Bishop Hartley) Senior
7. Dan Barrett (Chanel) Senior
8. Logan Heiing (Delphos St. John) Senior
9. Zach Coole (Martins Ferry) Junior
10. Evan Brettrager (Kirtland) Junior
Comments: Dalton Ishmael leads the group here and has another jump right behind him. I think the top 2 would be a great match, I like their styles. Gremling and Campbell are returning qualifiers and will move on to the podium in my opinion. Sheehy I thought underperformed last year at the end but I’m still high on him. Bell and Barrett are the athletes at this weight and can cause fits with their styles. Heiing and Coole are solid wrestlers who I think contend for a spot on the podium. Brettrager could be a sleeper here or at 220, he’s pretty big!
220-
1. Kennedy Smith (Chanel) Senior (2nd@215)
2. Travis Linton (Rootstown) Senior (8th@171)
3. Curtis Miller (Delphos Jefferson) (SQ@215)
4. Kody Bellamy (SMCC) Senior (7th@215)
5. Jacob Coon (Nelsonville-York) (SQ@215)
6. Jake Baker (Elmwood) Senior
7. Cody McGuire (Fredricktown) Senior
8. Isaac Livengood (Norwalk St. Paul) Senior
9. Brian Hefflinger (Liberty Center) Senior
10. Diante Jackson (VASJ) Senior (SQ@215)
Comments: Kennedy Smith leads a group of three contenders but I think he is a slight favorite. He was in the finals last year but got injured early in the match and it showed in the final results. His speed and strength is the reason he wins. Linton up from 220 has had good results at Disney and Super32, where he placed! Miller, Bellamy and Coon are very athletic but I like Miller just above the other two, he qualified for the state tournament but was unable to compete, where I think he didn’t make weight? Baker is also very athletic at 220 and I think will cause fits to others. McGuire, Livengood and Hefflinger were all ranked decently last year and will start out in a much higher ranking and should contend for a placement. DiAnte Jackson is 10th here, not sure if he ends up here or at 195, where I think would be ideal for his body type. He is athletic as well, this group as a whole has a lot of athletic 220’s, which will make this weight fun to watch.
285-
1. Mimmo Lytle (Swanton) Senior (1st@285)
2. Nino Majoy (Huron) Senior (3rd@285)
3. Zach Srock (Chippewa) Junior (6th@285)
4. Justin Gillen (Liberty Center) Senior (SQ@285)
5. Sam Rodgers (Wellington) Senior (SQ@285
6. Alex Damschroder (Carey) Senior (SQ@285)
7. Erick Zuberer (Kirtland) Senior
8. Paul Kelby (Smithville) Senior
9. Aaron Smith (Lima Bath) Senior
10. Travis Boyd (Blanchester) Junior
Comments:
Mimmo Lytle returns as favorite here but not that heavily. Majoy is solid and Srock is big. Lytle is my clear favorite and deserves to be. Gillen, Damschroder and Rodgers return as qualifiers from a year ago, Rodgers wrestled pretty well at Super32. Zuberer and Kelby exit a weak district and that could help come bracket time. Smith moves down from DII and looks to improve his stock in the process, he will be my sleeper here. Travis Boyd could be here or at 220 but I like his chances here as he would be quicker than most other 285’s. A sleeper could be Anthony Verhovec (Johnstown-Northridge) or maybe Andrew Villegas (Chanel).

Teams – Showing the teams who I show scoring 20+ points, these points are based on the rankings above. I also have factored in other possible qualifiers. These numbers will change every set of rankings I do from now until the final ones at the end of January.
1. Nelsonville-York – 81 pts. – They most likely won't have a finalist but are filled with mid-placers, huge key will be how Mays adjusts to 182.
2. Troy Christian – 78 pts. – Led by Toal and Marshall, if they can manage to get around 50 amongst themselves and then you throw in Ganger and Hancock, I like their chances of winning
3. Waynedale – 77 pts. – Led by 3 studs in their lineup of both Nelsons and Beam, look for Brendan Stanley to be the x-factor along with other key parts in Orr, Dakota Stanley and Wardell. Waynedale does have the best chance to get secondary points out of any of the schools in the top 3, they will need that!
4. Beachwood – 74 pts. – Harris is the only one I have favored for them but solid finishes from Gross and Shapiro will help. Blumenthal might be ranked a little high but its hard ranking a D1 transfer and comparing him in D3, he is a huge part of the team race.
5. Mechanicsburg – 68 pts. – Led by Reese and Erwin as their only big time contenders, other placers could include Hiltibran and Black. Throw in Tilley and Ziegler as possible scorers.
6. Delta – 56 pts. – Led by bunch of high to mid placers in Keller, Kern, Fahrer and Mattin. If any of them can finish a little higher then they could contend for a top 5 finish.
7. Archbold – 48 pts. – Led by Cowell but many secondary scorers are present in this lineup between Short, Price, Ripke, Rufenact and Stuckey. If Eggers and Coffey can score for them it will be a huge bonus!
8. Dayton Christian – 47 pts. – Led by Danishek and Clary, heard Clary might miss a little time, not sure but Plummer would of transferred here they would have been top 5 and maybe higher.
9. Ashland Crestview – 43 pts. – Led by Music and Montgomery and Petroff could be a low placer. If Batdorf wrestles and is effective he could place at 145.
10. Garrettsville Garfield - 44 pts. – Led by Stock and Yonker, both will be high on the podium. Only other possible scorer I see is Knepper.
11. Genoa Area - 42 pts. – Led by Martinez and Sheehy, but I have Fejes as a SQ and could possibly win a match or two. Other scorers could be Morrison, Keenan or Reeder
12. Keystone – 36 pts. – Led by both Spanglers, as long as both finish top then they should be around 30-35 pts.
13. Chanel – 34 pts. – Led by Smith, who can score a lot of bonus points, as he is a pinner. Throw in Barrett, who I have as a low placer, they could break 30 points.
14. Bishop Hartley – 33 pts. – Moving down from DII, they will have 2 scorers in Zang and Bell, Zang’s performance will dictate a Top 15 finish or not.
15. Swanton - 29 pts. – Led by Lytle but McCoy could be the factor if they finish top 10 or not.
16. Caldwell – 26 pts. – All of their points seem to come from Border, he scored a lot by himself last year as well
17. North Baltimore – 25 pts. – Led by Ishmael and Ishmael only.
18. Rootstown – 23 pts. – Led by both Lintons, Garrett seems to be a serious contender to be a finalist and Travis looks to be a possible placer, showing 19-20pts or so from Garrett and 4-5pts. from Travis.
19. Chippewa – 22 pts. – Srock and Lance seem like the only scorers, Srock should be top four as Lance will contend for a spot on the podium.
20. Shadyside – 21 pts. – They will finish higher all depending on Kinemond, who I think is their best wrestler but looks to be at a loaded weight.
21. Ayersville – 20 pts. – Led by Mansfield, Behringer and Ankney, if Behringer is at 106 then I think ayersville scores over 20 points. -

boro fanI also made a website for my rankings because it's so hard to post on here because of the character limit and it's a lengthy process copy and pasting weight by weight and then it takes up like 7 or 8 posts (HAHA)

Will be more updated December 1st when I release my updated rankings. -
shamelessLooks good!
