Things are looking up for the buckeyes

  • Westie101
Wrestled in the EMU open yesterday and got a first hand look at the buckeyes. I must say I am happy to be a buckeye fan again because of them looked awesome.

DiJulius looked REALLY REALLY thin but still wrestled to a solid 4th. Logan Stieber wrecked everyone without breaking a sweat including a win over #7 2010 all american Quiroga. Hunter also dominated up untill the finals where he guted out a good win. Cam Tessari beats #13 Osterman before falling to the #5 ranked wrestler in the country. Demas won it all, looked great but only win of note was over Aaron Sulzer I believe. At 165 I didnt get to watch Garcia wrestle but he finished 5th. Possibly an injury issue? Heflin looked tough and came back in the finals with two nasty bully double legs. Magrum looks back to good form taking second. Campollatano beats #19 dickerson before losing a tight one to #4 Powless. I will say that he looked pretty gassed during some of his matches.

THE YOUNG GUNS ARE LOOKIN GOOD!

    What a cool day.

Tessari and Heflin looked good and Steiber was smooth as usual. He might end with the greatest career a Buckeye has ever had.

Luke Rebertus from Navy defended his tournament championship and 7 Midshipmen placed with 4 in the top three!!! Oscar Huntley also made the finals for the Mids losing to Heflin in a pretty good match.

    Here's the brackets if interested.

Guys, keep thinking Smith had nothing to do with this, and I will be back when he is gone.
Did I miss breaking news from Ohio State?
