I thought this in the past was normally on a Friday early evening. Saturday is much better IMO. Heck, who can beat the admission price?
  • cruiser_96
Friday night is the spring open. Pre-season is always on a Saturday. But trust me, I don't fault you for being unable to keep up with all the tournaments we run!!! Preseason, postseason, a freshmen, not one, but two jv's, a varsity AND a youth tournament!?!?!? Dear God, why!?!?!?!?!?

    :D
  • Sid
Sir, you are a gentlman an scholar. I would expect nothing less from you. Saturday is of course thy day of battle.
  • cruiser_96
    Sundays are for bowling.
  • cruiser_96
I just recevied an email that someone on that one website that some people used to visit back in the day asked about this tournament. Someone a) tell him he could save $0.99 a month by coming here and b) give him my address. I'd be GLAD to give him word document.

And that goes for anyone else that wants one.

    Thanks, guys.

Glad you were able to pull it off after the little issue. Thanks for hospitality. By the way Holloway finished 2nd at 152. Had a good match with Dawson.
  • cruiser_96
rickzach!!!!!! I almost put it that way! I was going off of memory and when I listed it, I thought of a) putting it Holloway then Miller or b) noting that I couldn't remember which way it was.

Thanks for wading through the blackout. I get so frustrated when things like that happen. Coach Moody deserves a lot of thanks. He gave me a level head on it. Thanks again for sticking it out.

I'll make the change in my earlier post.

If thats Bobby Smith its a very good win for Jake Donatelli. I know Jake works hard all year. Great kid too!
  • cruiser_96
Reference: Ian Miller vs. Matt Stephens. Call could have gone either way (no two or two). But mark this down... It was a fantastic match. Best of luck to both guys this year.
  • Ozzie8383
Very good match by both guys. The look on both of their faces when regulation ended and they realized that overtime was ahead of them was quite funny; I would say that they will be filling their tanks with gas as the season progresses! Jake showed real mettle with his constant attacks, and Booby's short offense and leg defense is quite impressive. I doubt that they will end up at the same weight during season, but maybe a rematch will be seen at Pick. North in about a month and a half.

The Ian Miller vs. Matt Stephens reference is spot on for how overtime ended; both guys fighting for position until the end. I wish them both great luck this season; they are both better people than they are wrestlers, and I think that says a lot.
