You go from 3 (13) team sectional to 4 (10)team sections thus watering it down.zambrown;1069433 wrote:Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how does the SW teams leaving our district affect Sectionals?
And what we lost from Dayton, we made up for gaining Ole HB and CW in those middle weights IMO -

The SW dayton kids have nothing to do with sectional anything. The used to run from cincy kids to our district. If some1 has already corrected this person please ignore.Standoff22;1069137 wrote:Wow, there's some pretty weak sectionals. This really depicts the huge impact those SW teams leaving has on sectional tournament toughness. -

Sid...It actually does have bearing on our sectionals this yr as I mentioned before.Sid;1069968 wrote:The SW dayton kids have nothing to do with sectional anything. The used to run from cincy kids to our district. If some1 has already corrected this person please ignore.
Cent District gains an additional Sectional.
We go from 3 (13) team Sectionals to 4 (10) team Sectionals.
Roughly the same amount of teams, 39 last yr to 40 this yr split 4 ways instead of 3. -
CthelitesOK question...what type of brackets?
12 man?
16 man?
8 man?
Now that there only 10 teams with some teams not having full rosters, how do the brackets work?
All 12 man with byes unless there are only 8 in the weight? -

cruiser_96Same thing. Just put byes on lines 3, 6, 11 and 14. Each dropped wrestler brings a new bye on a preset mined line.
The meeting had a paper with the lines the byes were going to be on. But alas, I left it at home. -
