iGranbyouch, tough semi for Higgins if he gets there, same for fiorucci
-
eastwoodwhy is this Simpson at 103 not being talked about as a favorite. he's a senior thats 42-0, this guy has to be the favorite
-
american guesserIt looks as if the wrestling gods took a giant dump on Beemer from Wapak. Cash, Fiorucci, Jordan, then Campbell if he is to win it. Anyone else think the tough schedule that Fiorucci wrestles could be the difference maker at this weight class?
-
grappler25If you think of it that way, then Fiorucci also has an extremely tough draw. Beemer or Cash in the quarterfinals, then Jordan in the semis, and Campbell in the finals. But for Beemer, Cash, or Fiorucci it could be either a tough draw or a blessing in disguise, depending on how they wrestle to the competition...I think a lot of Central Ohio wrestlers got tough draws. Look at 135 for example...Brutal!!!!

HeadoutsideEveryone keeps projecting Presley low everywhere he goes. If Presley continues to wrestle like he did at districts I expect a much higher place than 6th. Even a state championship as a possibility. He beat Eckroth, handled Settles and then broke and dominated Willis.
Hutchins has already beaten Smith from Kenston. He was up by five when he pinned him. It was not even a close match. -

I firmly believe you could see Mr. Hutchins in the finals this weekend. He is one tough kid and I believe he can go with any of these guys. Looked a little "off" in his district final last weekend, but I am sure his coaches are already working on that. As for Pressley, how could anyone not love this kid. True story from this past weekend.... Watching Pressley before his quarterfinal in the bullpen, he is having a general conversation with none other than Eckroth from Steubenville, THE KID He IS ABOUT TO WRESTLE IN 5 MINUTES. Fast forward about 20 minutes and Pressley has just beaten Eckroth, I walk around the corner to the weigh in area and there is Nate offering encouragement to Eckroth and being absolutely genuine. Nate is an awesome kid and it is good to see him finally get where he has belonged. Go get'em "Big Hungry", we are all very proud of you and wishing you guys the best.
Good luck to all of the wrestlers this weekend. -
ksig489I have recently jumped on the Nathan Pressley bandwagon. You just cant help but want to see this kid win. He is such a genuinely nice kid. After his match to qualify this weekend, I saw him walking around just taking in the moment with what appeared to be tears in his eyes. It was nice to see after watching other kids qualify and act like it meant nothing to them. He wasnt making a scene, just quietly embracing the moment of his accomplishment. Id love to see him in the finals this week!

Headoutside,
Sorry to upset you.
I thought it was funny. I had a nice chuckle when I posted.
First off,
I think Hutchins has a 50-50 chance of getting to the finals.
I think the projected matches with Hackwoth and Smith will be very close.
Who comes from the bottom will either be McCommas or someone who beat McCommas
My pick is 4th losing to Smith and Reed in the 3-4 match
Presley
I am a bandwagon jumper also.
I like what he has done the last couple of weeks
but
I don't see him getting past Shaw in the semi's or past Lugo in the consi's
I see 4th
I am pulling for both to be at the top of the podium. -
rileymartinI don't know any of the heavys personally, but spent about an hour talking w/ Nathan P at Sectionals and another 30 minutes talking at Districts. I'm an LV fan & grad, no affiliation w/ CW at all.
But: Nathan is one the most sincerely nice kids I've ever met. His parents have done a wonderful job raising him, and for that reason alone I'm rooting for him ALL THE WAY!!!
Good Luck This Weekend NP !!!! -

Hutchins can Pin ANYONE in his weight. Put money on it. He has the ability to be in the finals. Everyone at this tournament can do work, that is why it is the state tournament.951123rd;694708 wrote:I firmly believe you could see Mr. Hutchins in the finals this weekend.
