Con semis: Zoller over Gase (BW), Santos over Miller (WH)

Thats if Gase makes it to conso-semis i think he will have Stephanies (Granville) in the conso-quarters who previously beat him 6-4 in there last meeting
  • ksig489
Zoller and Gase arent in the same half bracket are they?
  • ohiowrestlingchamp
no but after the cross bracketing they would meet in the conso semi's... assuming no upsets happened
  • hizzmuther
I don't know, but I would trust Bucksman to know where the brackets will cross in the consis and to be aware of where he expects them to drop.

Exactly. What's wrong with revising the rankings periodically. It makes more sense than looking at how people placed last year and a few boxscores from tournaments and making one prediction without seeing them actually wrestle. Given the access that many of us have to electronic information, we can probably all make better predictions within certain weight classes. Knowing all of the weight classes is the real challenge.
  • ksig489
I didnt see he was predicting conso semis...I thought it was a champ semis prediction.

LOL, 160 is way off do more research!

    160
    1. Boyce Lost to Mays
    2. Zang only beat Gadd by 1
    3. Baker Lost to ONeil by 1 (Who will be 171 State runner-up or 3rd based on when he wrestles Phillips) *This is your winner hands down!.
    4. Gadd..tough kid..but no offense
    5. Jones beat Mays...Why this kid and his schedule are not respected more is baffling.

Not sure what it is but hate seeing ppl rank based on Brackman or god forbid Bucksman. Dig a little harder and look up results on your own and dont coatail others and play it off as your "predictions". Re-roll.

Sid are you a little "SLOW"? Breakman or Bucksman didn't see this weight the same as me. I did my rankings on what I have see in person and results on the net. This is my thoughts on this weight class, If you don't like them make your own. Maybe you will pick better than I have maybe not. But you shouldn't attack me and say I coppied anyone when you have not seen my bracket. FYI I have Jones losing first round to Gadd also. Would I bet my house on it no, but it is what I think. I didn't care before but now I will sit and cheer on Gadd. I don't care who wins I just hope you are wrong. The only thing I know for sure is we will see on friday.. Good luck to you and whom ever you will be rooting for.

    Hutchins 4 Scherer 5 McComas 6 Wilson 8 Thompson 15 .....Breakman Rankings

I don't think there have been many head-to-head matches among these 5 wrestlers have there? Hutchins pinned Scherer in the "go to state" match 2 years ago...but that it so long ago it can basically be disregarded. Scherer topped McComas in last year's district semis (8-5).

Any other head-to head results out there? It seems strange these guys have not met up more often.....

I like you, but that post was ignorant lol, i think Boyce is the best kid in this weight, Baker is the 2nd best, but im guessing Bracket Screwed him, And Gadds Resume Shows hes is tough as nails.
His Mgutrmans Prediction, AT THIS WEIGHT* i think is spot on

I beat Zang, ONeil, and Higgins. So by the transitive property of trevor fiorucci, this arguement is dumb because im the best.

    If your predictions hold true-

    Olentangy has 6 SQ's
Licking Heights, Claymont, DeSales, and Granville have 4 SQ's
Licking Valley, Minerva, Stubenville, West Holmes, Dover, Johnathan Alder, have 3 SQ's
Canal Winchester and Hilliard Bradley have 2 SQ's
    - Everyone else 1 SQ's or none

-Sounds a little off to me, but we will see this weekend

Sounds off to me too...lol I didn't look at overall numbers just each weight as I saw it. we'll have to see how it all plays out. Anything can happen, especially in wrestle backs. I still can only see the brackets through my eyes.
  • hang_loose
mgutrman, Thank You for supporting Delaware County & the wrestlers in that county...

Hey Dad4Sports, I'm thinking Hutchins and Scherer is going to be an awesome match..
  • Headoutside
I think you are selling a few of the canal Kids a little short. I see it a little different. 112Brady 4th ,125 Hutchens 1st, 130 Boswell 1st or 3rd, 135, Tullius has a shot at making the finals. He pinned Jolley at the cambridge tourament earlier this year. He was winning when he pinned him. Hwt. Presley 2nd or 3rd.

I don't think it is off at all. There is a reason why Olentangy is ranked 4th in the state and finished 2nd at the State Duals this year. Frankly, I think some of the Olentangy wrestlers are ranked a little low and didn't include Stinemetz at 215 (anything is possible but I don't see how he doesn't make the top 4). It is very possible for this team to qualify 6-7 wrestlers for state. Maybe I've seen them wrestle more than others. I also think we might be underestimating Claymont based on how they have performed this year. My team picks for first and second are Olentangy and Claymont. I just don't see any other team getting close.
