Could they have wrestled or was it precautionary?

I guess I don't get it? just move on and deal with it next week? Especially a finals match... then have Otero and everyone FF....
  • keato5
I think all 3 were a little banged up, so I guess it was precautionary more than anything else.

I can see Cummings be banged up... after the DQ from his semi finals match.. he must have been slammed 4-5 times. The tears on the losing kids face said it all but I think he realized you don't slam head first in a half. I was really worried about Cummings after that. Glad to see him get up and walk off. Crazy to see Kern pinned by Macioce too...
  • loganelmdad
DId C-ville have any sectional champs?
  • Fan4Life
No champs. 2nd: Otero, Davis. 3rd: Cummings, Garcia, Knul, Kern, Holloway, Bastian, Griffin. 4th: Ford (285)

Macioce is not a good match up for Kerns, but Nate will still do some damage at District Tourney.
  • Sid
Why did Macioce leave Westerville North? I thought he would do well this year. Or was it one of the other Westerville schools?

Kerns will have a tough go and so will Macioce. Looking at the brackets Nate draws #1 seed from oakwood and is on the top bracket with Keaton Webb. Andrew could have Addis is his second match if he wins his first. The 125lb weight class is pretty loaded with talented kids. I wish them both the best.

Not sure really, I am glad that he was part of our team. He is a great competitor and shows great sportsmanship. Good luck Macioce!
