ChargerI grabbed these seeds from another site.
I definately think this and napolean are the toughest hands down. I am not sure what the east was trying to do by taking Claymont and Dover from Buckeye local and switching some of the others around. It has clearly made the two sectionals very unbalanced. I would really like to see the teams seeded. I understand you will have some classes loaded and others not still, but atleast you would have the best "teams" leading each sectional into districts. Just my opinion. -

Agree 100%....traditionally in the past the 2 East sectionals at Meadowbrook and Buckeye Local were extremely uneven....with BL being MUCH tougher. Now the folks in charge have made changes and moved teams around. But you're right....they did nothing to balance things out. Now BL is much weaker then the Claymont sectional. In essence, nothing has changed. Granted.....the East covers a huge geographic area, but I think they are doing the wrestlers there an injustice. Each year there are multiple cases of kids left sitting home for the District meet who should be wrestling.....Charger;679472 wrote:I grabbed these seeds from another site.

Would it cause that many problems to seed and divide the teams like the Central does? -
ChargerI think they should just seed it like basketball or anything else. Rank the teams 1-24 or however many there may be. Let #1 decide one sectional or the other, then #2,#3 and so on. If a team would rather be in sectional A because its closer, so be it. I just feel in the long run it hurts the teams as a whole because a kid that maybe didnt get out of a tough sectional is sitting that could have scored a few points at districts. Again i know this could still happen to a few kids, but to me I want to see the best TEAMS from my district have a solid chance of competing at the next level.

ChargerBasically what we have now is the Claymont sectional is a repeat of the ECOL from last week with minerva, carrolton, Tri Valley and West holmes now in the mix
