What will be the toughest weight class in D3?

  • Ohio wrestler
What will be the toughest weight class at States for Division 3? My opinion is a tie between 103, and 119.

Depends.....toughest to win? or Toughest/deepest to place?
  • 1_beast
    119 imho

The toughest to win would be where ever Phillips, Cam or Logan are. You might as well throw in 103 as nobodys beating Tomesello.
The toughest to place is going to be 119 (IMO).

To GET TO STATE in our district (Garfield hts); I think it will be 189, 160 or 130.as the toughest...just because of the flight away from the Steibers and the talent at 60 and 89. Because of this 135 (&112) may be the easiest to get out at.

is that where Cam Tessari is? he has 140 or 145 all but locked up. whichever he is wrestling.
  • Ally Cat
Tessari has already lost 1 this year, Cowell is on stopable and no one will beat him.
  • iwrestle365
Trust me cam Tessari will win states regardless of whose in his weight class

I've never seen this guy Cowell wrestle before(50-0 is very impressive) but he also had 111 wins his first 2 years in high school and has never placed at States? How can you bet against Tessari and the schedule he wrestles?! Tessari easily!!

    103 - IMO is the toughest/deepest race to 2nd

Schedule is very suspect.....saw their Senior 125 earlier this year who has over 150 career wins and has never been a SQ yet

Its crazy that another Cowell (D3) is wrestling, there is another Cowell in (D2) raising some eyebrows. Any relation?

Monroeville and Archbold was at SMCC div.3 duals. Cowell and Tessari did not wrestle each other? If so, why not?

    160.
  • Ally Cat
    ok, WOW!! 160
  • Coach Hennosy
    me three ... 160
  • HighLowSingle45
160...With Martinez wrestling there, Prather, Walters, and a lot others in that weight you would expect it to be very hard IMO
  • Bitterrunner-up
Even without Martinez, 160 would have been in the discussion for best weight class in DIII. If he truly ends up competing at 160, then it's #1 without a doubt.
