when to throw in the towel
-
wrestle-dogToby Keith said it best when he said I ain't as good as I once was But I'm as good once as I ever was......when that is no longer true.....Throw in the Towel.
Last night at the Pick N vs GC match the official whom often times calls back points and pins from his feet was unable to get down on the mat in a timely fashion to call a pin. He often times misses back points and pins because of this. He also called about 3 stalling calls in about 30 seconds and decided 2 matches with bad calls.
The fans of the sport, wrestlers, coaches and parents deserve better. -
said_aouitaDo the schools have any say in what official works their events?

6 minutesIf the refs would stop worrying what the fans are yelling and see who they could have escorted out of the gym they would be much better......I wouldn't want to be a ref but I've seen some horrible calls and the funny thing is the ref really thinks he was right....we all know they aren't "always" right. They don't like to be questioned about a call....no matter what any ref says they hold it against that coach that questions them about a bad call....I believe alot of times it's personal!

tuskytuffguyI absolutely cannot stand it when a ref is working that doesn't get on the floor. Peeves me off to no end.

mellaBad refs suck but more people need to step up and become a certified ref so the bad ones can "retire". I agree with the above posts but at the same time I have no desire to become a ref either. Call me a hypocrite.

TigerRaider1That ref was terrible! He also decided a couple matches between Reynoldsburg and Pick. North! He should give the money back that he was paid for those matches because he certainly didn't work!
