Zon is a monster. Peyton will still do very well this year. Mullucey is an up and comer. Murdock is a serious threat do better than last year at states (hey, its a Disabato he lost too). Is that Coach Cline's son? If so watch out! -
slow-n-steadyyou cant be serious about murdock. he will not be healthy @ 12 and his technique is that of a middle schooler. good result last year but @ 103. he will not be throwing or hitting junk on his bigger OLDER opponents. March will be here soon enough. From the sounds of it he was ran all over the mat by the disabato kid.
-
USMCdevil05Yea I agree, 112 and 119 are alot different than 103. The kid is good dont get me wrong, but he needs to be giving disabato a match if he is palnning on making the podium again.
-
DirtyscrambleUSMC do you say positive things about people not from Teays valley? Murdock looked good all off season wrestling up at 119 i think he will be high on the podium rather at 112 or 119

Pretty harsh words for a very talented kid!
Good luck to Ryan this yr. -
slow-n-steadytalented? far fom that vs disabato. just read my post and get back to me in march. If he is not @ 12 he will not come close to the podium. @12 thank god they place 8 now. remember my post and if i eat crow - so be it. dont know the kid, only watched him westle at ohsaa events. just my 2 cents.

Shankapotamus
Lay off the kid. He represents Central Ohio well on and off the mat. There is absolutely no reason for you to bang on the kid. To say the kid has technique of a middle schooler shows absolutely no class on your part.slow-n-steady;598160 wrote:talented? far fom that vs disabato. just read my post and get back to me in march. hizzmutherRyan Murdock just has a way of peaking at the right time. He may still be adjusting to the weight. He may have just had a bad match. But he just doesn't let those things happen when important tournaments are going on in March. And it is harder to wrestle your friends who you wrestle with all the time.

Westie101Maybe if I had the technique of a junior high schooler i could have placed at state to...

Wow! still banging.
Leave the kid alone. Maybe he just doesnt match up well against Disabato(a lot of kids dont) -

Well actually i do say posotive things about kids who arent from teays, and if you knew me you would know i am the most criticle to the teays kids. I said Murdock was a tough kid, I was simply saying unless he goes down i dont think he will be on the podium. i dont know the kid or have anything against him. So goodluck Mr. murdock, prove me wrong. -
falcon81Wow I can't believe the negative slams on Murdock based on one match? He works his a$$ off and is extremely respected across the state! Show a little restraint and discernment on your comments about a HS kid. We have all had our best wrestlers have a off match or bad match up where a kid didn't look like his normal self , don't use it to take a pot shot! These kids give everything!

slow-n-steadylol. Not bashing the kid, just calling it as i see it. I have always thought that he better stay as light as possible due to his lack of technique. Yes he is a state placer, but again, at 103. very young kids across the board at that weight. I think he will have trouble making 12 ecspecially over tourneys that last more than a day.
IMO, he will not throw and hit many of his strong points against stronger more experienced wrestlers. Anyone disagreeing..... well like i said in previous posts, come back to this in march!
I am not bashing the kid at all. Just pointing out what it is. -
bw133You're theory has loopholes.. like a certain 125 pounder from beavercreek who placed third in the state with a head n arm... if i am correct wouldnt a head n arm be considered a "middle school" move.. and that also is at a "more competitive" and older weight class... hmmmm

cruiser_96What happened on the 11th, bw133?

After Winning Freestyle State and Getting Gold at Junior Olympics at 119
Id say the kid will have no problem throwing some 112 pounders IMO -
slow-n-steadylooks like I sparked a lil interest! Nice first post bw!
I hope the kid does well. I was just binging up a point. Im done arguing about this. Time will tell. I very easily could be wrong, it wouldnt be the first time! -
falcon81"Technique of a middle schooler" on a D1 state placer is not a unnecessary insult on a HS kid?. There goes any credibility you have along with your bad manners.

bw133Yeah i thought I'd just throw in my two pennies. And cruiser.. the 11th wasnt my best moment. I'm home the 21st and lookin to roll around
