It's Almost Here...

  • I Wear Pants
Conditioning has started, practice isn't too far off. After that some early tournaments and then the matches start to kick in. Wrestling season is almost here. This is my third year out of school and I still get excited.

Went to my first youth tournament two weeks ago and my first college this weekend, even though I'll have just had total reconstructive surgery on my shoulder. Love it.

This mite bee the greatest season two date. I look forward to being two as many matches as possible.

I heart I Wear Pants and my inability to know the difference between to, too, and two.

    Go Cruisers!!!

My boy has been to two tourneys and will go to a third this weekend...and practice hasn't started yet...

He loves wrestling, that is for sure.

He went to his first Judo/Jiu Jitsu training last night ever and tore the kids up who had been doing it for months in class.

    He's wrestled before correct?

If so that's likely helping him destroy the other kids in JJ. Having a wrestling background helps out a lot because you already know how to control your body position and ways to get to a position you favor.

Hope your kid keeps enjoying both.

Oh yeah, he's wrestled for 2 years and started the judo/JJ class once a week just for something to do between football and wrestling.
