Wow , a little lag time here! Now I see Danielson! I see myself standing on a pier practicing perfect undefensable CRANE tecnique! Whoala!

Sheesh...I thought I knew a little something about wrestling. We are talking about the cross-body RIDE?

Refman may THINK I'm riding to stall...but I can look real busy doing it!

Its all good now! Meyagehi is here now. I feel like a crain! With the boots in!

Joe Daugherty, yes the guillotine is still legal, but on your point of riding with double legs in...as long as one is scoring then no..it is not stalling.

I see way too often legs in, "trying" to run the power half, (they just happen to be up by 1 or 2) and gosh darn it...they cant seem to turn with it, no matter how hard they try...that is where stalling raises it very ugly head.

Trying is trying, not stalling. At most it may be a stailmate. Think about it this way, if a kid is trying to take a kid down but just can't. Is that stalling? Refman, I totally disagree. Just because a kid is in control and can't turn a kid late in a match (prob doesn't have the strength) to turn him that latein the game, is not stalling to me. What you are saying is that you are trying to guess if he is stalling, with the legs. What if the kid is just a leg rider and is not as well versed in a arm bar, or spiral, and is still giving it 100 percent! I agree that some kids use it as a stall move but, its a fine line to call. I know you and I personally don't think if a kid was truely trying to turn a kid with a power half, legs in, that you would call a stalling on him.

I love this stuff, you should tell him how the kid on top has to not turn him for some set period of time that changes depending on who you are talking to before stalling can be called. That's one of my favorites.

Joe....big difference between sitting there and not working (stalling) and sitting there and trying to work something. It is a fine line...and a line I know very well.

The best way I can tell if a kid is wrestling is one thing....is he creating angles? If he is...then that means he is getting out to the side and working...might not be able to turn...but then the rules don't stay he has to..just has to try.

If there are no angles being created, then there is stalling...cant turn or try to turn without creating some angle.

I had to look back a your previous post and saw that you mentioned BOTH boots in. No way to get a angle with both boots in. But ypou can score with them. Both in. I personaly like just one in when I am runing a power half. I like to post my other leg out for leverage. Hmmmmmm. I guess you can throw a gilotine (spelling) with both boots in although it feels weird not having your hips in the correct spot. I guess I always used both boots to crush the kids spirit then jumped off one leg to score. Cross body is good.
So earlier you said the gilotine is still legal. Here I have been holding back from showing that move because I thought they had done away with it! Haaa! So I will agree that riding parallel pounding on a head without an angle could be considered stailmate. What r we training kids for college? Riding time? Although I think the USA is the only place that even wrestles Folkstyle. We should get into this later over a ROOTBEER! I see ur point.

    Root beer is fine!
